Seems like she finally found her looks. Strong and sexy. Even the bun fits in, well done.

I think Ann Sophie will be joining the UK on the right side of the scoreboard, with the rest of the big 5 on the left

Having rewatched the rehearsal I think Ann Sophie overdid the gestures a little. It looked a bit theatralic, hopefully they will be more refined in the finals. The back vocals could also be a bit louder in the chorus to support her voice. Won't be so easy to stand her ground in case she got positioned after Italy.

After Italy would be a great place to start. "Grande amore" boring and old fashioned - "Black smoke" fresh and catchy

Ann Sophie reminds me of a cross between Nina Zilli and Lena. The song is great though, and probably the best of all the 'I don't have to qualify because I'm paying $$$$$$$$'

... and two vocal weight classes below them. No thanks, I'd like an easier position for our girl.

An article I've found. I'm not sure I got the translation right, but apparently 2 newspapers were not happy with Ann Sophie's attitude after the press conference (despite the fact that she was not feeling well, and she already said it), so they wrote a bad review about her.

Nothing to worry about - typical Austrian. They are still pretty damn pissed that Conchita did not get our 12 points last year.
I really agree on the last paragraph in the article:
"It's time for us Germans to finally look ahead and to give Ann Sophie the support she deserves. We should all hope for her to feel better for her big performance...."
There are really people on Facebook who are saying that she's just faking her cold - horrible how little the support from Germany actually is :(

Full speed ahead: Ann Sophie is fit again

At the press conference after the sample of the "Big Seven" , it was already clear to hear: Ann Sophie had a bad cold. Then all were further Performing and press events canceled . Today we have taken from Hamburg to their hotel to interview: Ann Sophie shines as usual, as if nothing had happened. Only those who know that they had the previous day to stay in bed, can hear that she is still a slight cold.

"I've pulled together yesterday at the trial and, if anything, but after that I was exhausted. I had to just go to bed," said the musician. Your backing singers and the whole team around Ann Sophie passed in her hotel room to cheer and prop up the singer. "All looked after touching to me We laughed together and my favorite meal was the evening I brought out of the hotel to my room." Burrata, spinach salad with avocado and a long phone conversation with your best friend who apparently works wonders.

"I have great respect"

"If your body makes you a spanner in the works and does not work the way you want - then suggests the quite on the mood," admits the German bringer of hope and smiles. Clearly, the good mood is now back! Good thing, because the interview and appearance Marathon has been at 9 clock in the morning back in full swing. Ann Sophie has it first semifinal looked at the replay, the second they will live right in the hall.

"I have great respect for my fellow musicians. There are great stage shows, and great voices there." Like most of the "Black Smoke" singer's appearance Loïc Nottet from Belgium: "This is so beautiful minimalist." But your favorite musicians are colleagues with whom Ann Sophie already at German Embassy reception personally met: " Guy Sebastian and the Makemake have a musician dreams in the right place. All Playing instruments are simple and so kind. "The Duet with singer Dodo of the Austrian ESC band has the North German particularly inspired: "Let's see, maybe we make something together."

"Brains out and bang! Just do not"

On Saturday Ann Sophie looks with mixed feelings: "Of course I have some fear you have in. Finals lost control, to let go And then I think again:. How great that you are at this stage allowed to so many people who sit and watch! , and you must be there. " But if it is just around the stage, a switch put in their order: "Then it's for me only: from brain and just plain make Zack yet!." Which will stage outfit Ann Sophie then inspire the audience, is not one hundred percent stated: "Certainly it will be a black one piece and I'll probably wear the bun, which stretches and looks elegant," says the singer. Which Overall exactly will be used and whether it will be the golden shoes - let's wait!

I've been seeing throughout the ESC season that there seems to be a real dislike for Ann Sophie. I've seen the same things mentioned over and over about how full of herself she seems, her attitude is cocky, her overconfidence and peacock strutting is off-putting and so on. At first I thought it was just fans being bitchy but I'm seeing a bit of the same in the press this week as well. Has anybody else seen this :?

Don't know where that could come from. She seems to me the most charming and kind person in all her interviews. xlove
Maybe there is still a bunch of people who, after Kummert quit, wanted her to quit, too. And some of the press rely on second hand opinions. xshrug

I think her performance is very theatrical. I would say she is over acting in her performance.... I wonder if it is lack off singing technique that makes her do it

I never understood this because none of it was her fault. Not sure why people would hold the whole thing against her
