I actually like "Midnight gold" quite much, but in facht -the other years were a lot better. Let's see what we can expect this time!

In Georgia's case, the songs in the past years were unique AND good - in my eyes!
Well, tastest differ of course. I agree with you that the songs were unique, but more in a way that I´m saying this to myself after hearing the songs: " No matter what kind of drugs they had, it was certainly too much!!"

I had already forgotten Georgia is taking part this year

Exciting. Unusual decision not to release the music video with it but it's their choice and I respect it. Something feels wrong about everything continuing like it was before whilst all of this horror is happening on our continent to innocent people. It's awkward enough just consuming things that would usually bring us joy right now. Eurovision won't feel the same this year. There's nothing to celebrate at this moment but maybe being together is still needed and of value.
This is so, so very obviously Young Georgian Lolitaz, or at least part of them *waves at Nika Kocharov*, which means they're coming to challenge Vladana's top spot in my ranking. I'm hoping for some really cool psych rock.

Maybe their initial music video involves some guns or war scenes? And they need more time to either decide on a pushed-back relase or they are about to edit/delete these scenes?
I agree with your statement - as an avid Eurovision fan, I spent way too much time on this forum and still care about the songs but this year, it simply feels very different - Eurovision is about partying together, celebrating our differences and at the same time, we have a Eurovision participant invading another one and killing innocent people "for being different".
Let´s hope that "peace will come" soon and we will be in another state of mind in May.
I´m really curious to get to know their entry - especially since they decided to not release their already filmed music video Oo

But let's both have another, eh? I wasn't crazy for last year's contest but I think I still ended up with around six 12s. This current year is terribly underwhelming.I wondered the same actually. As I said, it seems an unusual decision to hold the video back so you could be right. Maybe there's something in it that could have been bad timing with what's going on. Anyway, we're getting the song!
Yeah, I've still been following but my interest has dropped. I have this feeling though that when the contest takes place and Ukraine perform (I hope with all my heart they will) that this edition will become perhaps our most important one ever. It's going to be symbolic and incredibly powerful.
