Listened to this a few times before checking out the thread, and I was rather surprised to see the positive reaction this is getting here. It's by no means bad, but damn, that's a very top-heavy poll so far.
Personally, my thoughts are similar to Rainy's, although a little less extreme: the reggae verses are a fun little tease at a genre we don't usually get at Eurovision, and then the pre-chorus and chorus feel like very stock-standard contemporary pop. I don't outright love the former or hate the latter, though.
On the whole, at least it's a different breed of radio pop to some of the other songs this year (e.g. it's not just another Poland/Azerbaijan), and I'm actually a fan of the messiness - I don't like songs that stay the same throughout, so this at least keeps my attention, even if it's done in a slightly clunky way in parts. The melodies and instrumentation feel a little flat for me though.
5 points for the moment, though it's a possible grower and I couldn't complain if Macedonia finally stepped up their staging game and qualified, since they've been sending decent songs for a while now.
