Eiffel Tower reveal, France, 2020.
Ash, you know way better to realize that Tom Leeb entered Eurovision thanks to his father, who is a French oligarch, with the entry being written by Swedish songwriters.

And not to mention that Alexandra Redde-Amiel (our HoD) just landed her role back then. It's been 5 years, she's grown and learnt being around other delegations, artists, etc.

I think people losing their s*it over France releasing so late is that we are all fearing another Sweden win and this seems like the only opportunity to prevent this. They better do not disappoint but I guess there's a lot of pressure on Loana now.

Not since Måns lost to KAJ.

And IMO, while Sweden has a shot at winning, it feels really wide open now, with several countries being in the Mix (especially Austria).

Tbh, what intrigues me the most in the whole ordeal is the choice of the event during which it's going to be presented. Louane's discography doesn't really align with what you would expect from a rugby half-time show.
I think her entry should be whatever the rugby night in France equivalent is to Jenna Maroney's seminal classic, "Tennis Night In America."

I haven't heard any of the songs this year except for the Netherlands', Belgium's and Sweden's, so I have no idea what I songs I think have a shot at winning this year, but I pray for the French song to be a contender to win - they have been trying hard the last couple of years and I would like a French victory. Also would love to see Louane win.
