It was initially thought to send to this edition a song from the new 'Nightwish' album "Endless Forms Most Beautiful". Though I love their old songs much, much more... This song has been a big favorite for me for a long time, so it's perfect for this edition. I'm not sure about my future in WorldVision, there is no decision yet, but maybe it's my last entry in this contest.

I love that you chose this particular Finntroll song! Been such a long-time favorite of mine.

There are a couple of minor translation errors in the lyrics (not that it matters that much), so I've taken the liberty of re-translating some of the words.

Black Depths

"Rymden" literally means "space" (as in the vast big space up there in the sky), but it sounds quite lame in English. So "vast black depths" sounds much better than "black depths of space".

I'm pretty sure there is a letter missing in "Nu lyfts värdet mot himmelens rand". I think it's supposed to be "svärdet", meaning "the sword" (instead of värdet, meaning "the value" or "the worth"). It would make a lot of sense, since the next line refers to steel.
