Denmark: One I most wanted to qualify, and each time I've heard it so far I've liked it. The bookies' red hot winning favourite, I've bet £1 this afternoon this will win. A mix of gentle verses and rapid paced choruses, plus piping and drums. The perfect combination IMO. Go for it, I hope you win.

I can't stand this Danish girl's voice; the false break and semi-yodel are so fake, but I can see why it's the favourite. Too reminiscent of Euphoria for my taste - not as bad as Germany and Ukraine, but still...

So glad to hear Icelandic lyrics, such a beautiful language! A bit simplistic a ballad, but makes a nice change from disco bunnies and fake hippies.

Iceland: Now for the one I most wanted to qualify from SF2: ICELAND. We've had loads of adult kids' Boogie Beebies videos so far tonight; now for the adult's version of the CBeebies Goodnight Song "Eg A Lif". A first class performance of an excellent, beautiful soothing ballad, or as I see it a lullaby. Well done Eythor, this deserves to be Iceland's first ever win.

Azerbaijan: a more upbeat ballad with the gimmick of the box and bloke inside it. Not as good as "Running Scared" in 2011, this won't win.
