ESC 2000 was in Sweden and Portugal withdraw that year. Denmark won and we came back. This time, we have withdraw (again when Sweden is hosting it), the big favourite to win is Denmark and RTP has informed the portuguese website (escportugal) that they want to comeback next year.

I don't think it's fair to have such an impression. Until Germany won the contest in 2010, their results were beyond miserable. And no other year has anything to do with previous ones. Finland, and any other country, may come with big hit any year.
