So a combination of being bored, as well as piquing my interest, made me do this
I think the
female bops took points off each-other. To see if this was true (and to see how each country performed by more than just the Top 10 televoters), I looked at the top 17 positions of each country's televoting and awarded points, 20, 18, 16, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
This will show how there were more voters for these songs, but they lost out against each-other ultimately.
For a comparison, I am using ‘
Rock’ as Italy and Finland – ONLY to show a comparison. I know they are not the same version of ‘rock’.

For the purposes of this, I count one of the
'female bops' as Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Malta, San Marino, Greece, Serbia and Moldova.






In my revised scored based on
Top 17 televoting:
‘
Female bops’ scored a total of 1,331 points between them.
‘
Rock’ scored 1,098 points between them.
The ‘
Female bops’ received
233 more points than ‘
Rock’.
In the
actual televoting results:
‘
Bops by ladies’ scored a total of 380 points between them.
'Rock' scored 536 points between them.
‘
Rock’ got
156 more televoting points than ‘Bops’.
To me this shows that the split of voting between the ‘bops’ ultimately hurt them from higher placings. But did NOT affect the eventual winner.
