We've never had "imported" songwriters, just imported singers, and that was during Eurolaul era. Current rules say that songwriters and performers must be Estonian citizens or residents of Estonia, i.e. pay taxes here, i.e. must live at least 180 days in a year in Estonia.

I see, and I totally agree with your current rules... I think these rules should be universal for all ESC, EBU should do something... because as things go now ESC purpose is lost with all the imported songs.

Wasn´t a good first Semi in Estonia last weekend imo. At least two of my three favorites qualified (Anisa, Elina Born, Teele &Tuuli &Ula)

I guess they're playing melodifestivalen, camera shots speaking. I don't like it there so I don't like it here. If they're favourites, I hope they flop. Let's trust Estonians, who have proven to be wise in the past.

I find this heat a bit stronger than the first semi-final from last week.

My favorites for tonight:

- Birgit Õigemeel - Et uus saaks alguse
- Flank - Missing light
- Liisi Koikson ja Söörömöö - Üle vee
- Liis Lemsalu – Uhhuu
- Neogeen - Lune sournoise
- Põhja-Tallinn - Meil on aega veel
- Rolf Roosalu - With u

I hope that 5 songs out of these 7 will qualify to the final.
