This is no longer the worst year ever for me. By the skin of its teeth with thanks to Georgia and UK offering big surprises towards the end, I prefer 2023 to 2018.

Definitely did not have "wants Belgium to qualify" on my bingo list at the start of the Eurovision season..... (it hasn't even really grown on me since then either)

I only really care about my top 5 or 4 songs in these semis though. (in semi 2 I've got a sea of 6s, 5s and 4s after Australia) So outside of those qualifiers I don't really care who gets through.

All in all a good year with many 12s and 10s, but also many songs that are in the middle of the road.

I have given 4-5 songs a 12 this year, but they were all left behind in the NF's. So a rather disappointing Eurovision 2023 for me.
