This final night of NFs has saved my sanity. Ok, Sweden was obvious but I totally wasn't expecting Portugal to pick my fave. I mean.. I still declare this year as pants though, and not very nice ones but it's wonderful to have four songs I love. Could have been worse.

After weeks of calling this a very weak year I'm finally struggling with ranking my top 5 because I want to give each song my haha. This weekend gave us two really, really good songs with and

Here are my current thoughts about my top 5:

because: perfect vocal harmony, I love Mahmood and Blanco as artists, nice progression and variation in the song, Italian language

because: probably the most unique song of the year, very distinctive sound, Breton Language, perfect mix between upbeat/ techno and ethnic, charismatic artists

because: also unique in it's own way, such a relaxing and calming song, Portuguese language, beautiful staging at FDC

because: most authentic Swedish song in years, very catchy, great staging

because: catchy song, great vocals, charismatic singer (I somehow would like to rank this higher but for now my #5, after being in the top 3 for a long time)

Edit: Changed Malta's ranking based on the new song. I haven't changed my ranking for Portugal yet (it's in my top 10 now) but I'll do that for the next ranking I post.
