I think :ro: has been overlooked. However, it stands out greatly from everything else and I think think it will go down a storm when performed. It is by no means a favourite of mine but I do think it will do well

I think that this year's dark horses will be :nl: and :cz:, but it's very possible that there will be more :D

I'm still pretty convinced that :dk: will do much better than most people think.

I hope :hu: can be a dark horse reaching top 5. But I will be satisfied if we reach Boggie's last year result which is not a big deal.
I am also rooting for Agnete, Nina, Iveta, Barei, Sanja, Poli and Amir.

I think Serbia, Latvia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, and possibly Belgium.

Absolute wild cards would be Malta, Lithuania, and Poland.

Previously I said that Iceland, Hungary, Cyprus and Ukraine were my dark horses, but I'd also like to add Serbia to that list now. Sanja is great live, and with good staging the song could really leave an impression. At this point, I'd probably rank the five as Ukraine > Hungary > Serbia > Iceland > Cyprus in terms of predictions. Latvia would be at the top of that, though, if we're including them as an outside chance now that they've drifted.

Is it just me, or is there a big separation this year between what "feels" hyped and what is hyped? I'm pretty cocksure that :lt: will do really well, but there actually isn't much hype around them (20s in the [kind of meaningless but still] odds and 0 so far at this [super early but still] juncture in the OGAE poll). :az: and :bg: are kind of trend checklists, so I expect them to be far more well-received than we're thinking (but I'm wary of how the latter's signature vocal distortion will sound live). :nl: I think could all of a sudden enter contention to do solidly when rehearsals start, much as Cyprus did last year; I could see some viewers hearing it and thinking "ugh, FINALLY a good song." As always, the only truly predictable thing is that nothing's predictable, so this is all subject to change.
