Waiting list (WL) rules:

• Voting in each final of NSC as part of the waiting list jury is compulsory.
• Any waiting list nations who fail to vote will be moved 2 places down on the list.
• Nations who fail to vote 2 finals in a row will be removed from the list.
• Under certain circumstances waiting list nations can take a break from voting in the finals if a solid reason is given. During that period of time the position of the nation on the waiting list remains frozen and it can move neither up nor down.
• Nations with 'NSC XXX' beside them will debut/return in the next contest.
• Nations with 'NSC XXX?' beside them can send a reserve entry to the next contest.

First of all, welcome to NSC! If you have any questions regarding the contest, feel free to post them in this thread or ask one of the mods: @Stargazer, @berlyda or @Veronika.

In order to get familiar with the contest, please take a look at the RULES!

If you want to apply for a place in NSC (or if you want to return), simply send a PM to Stargazer - you'll be added to the waiting list (see above).

Please note that you are probably going to be waiting for a long time as there is a strong demand for spots on the roster. In the meantime, you may enter the Waiting List contest, vote in the semi-finals of NSC and take part in the various spin-off contests if you wish to. Don't forget that voting in the finals is compulsory.

I still don't quite get it how people can post that much. I won't accuse anyone for being a posthunter, but 1400 posts is admittedly a hole bunch of posts.

Postcounts don't matter to me the least bit, but it's great if people find pleasure in a high postcount.

That's probably because I write in many parts of the forum. For instance, you, Michel, don't post in Guildo's Games and you get many posts when posting in every of the 5-6 active games daily, though incidentally.

No, it was an admin glitch. I tried to change the avatar of those members with no avatar to a standard one (to make it look nicer). Unfortunately it changed the avatars of all standard members and when I reversed it, it was already too late. So you would have to upload them again

I have 10500 posts on another forum for an online game that I play. In 3 years.

It's actually quite easy to get that hight if you just post here and there every day.

I have 1440 posts on a forum I'm admin/moderator on (a Need For Speed fan site), and I've been registered there for 6 years. I'll admit tho, I'm not the one who posts the most in there, but noone has more than 10000 posts. Then again, that could be because we decided to put all posthunting threads in an own forum called "Can of Spam", and posts there aren't counted in the total.

Also got 2500 posts on a football forum, but the majority of those are related to a bunch of prediction leagues I've been organizing, which requires a bit of posting. I sincerely dislike posthunting tho. Quality is better than quantity.

Well, I barely post in any other section but NSC and FSC, so that's probably why my post-count isn't impressively high.

I used to be far more active on the old board, being more of an overall-user. Let me add that I don't necesarrily measure quality in number of posts. Basically, as Morty pointed out: Quality is above all and should be in preference to quantity. That however is just my opinion. If the postcount encourage people to post, then I'm not the one to complain.

Need to remove the 2 editions of Doklea since they're entering. By the way, are there any new nations on the waiting list that haven't been noted, yet? There's a nation that hs voted in Pigeon Island's NF - Alexandria. I've been wondering if it's a WL one.
UPDATE: It turned out that that was in fact ALEKSANDRIJA.
