Nations or members in cyan have entered NSC at least once before.


Waiting list (WL) rules:
  • Voting in each final of NSC as part of the waiting list jury is compulsory.
  • Any waiting list nations who fail to vote will be moved 2 places down on the list.
  • Nations who fail to vote 2 finals in a row will be removed from the list.
  • Under certain circumstances waiting list nations can take a break from voting in the finals if a solid reason is given. During that period of time the position of the nation on the waiting list remains frozen and it can move neither up nor down.
  • Nations with 'NSC XXX' beside them will debut/return in the next contest.
  • Nations with 'NSC XXX?' beside them can send a reserve entry to the next contest.

First of all, welcome to NSC! If you have any questions regarding the contest, feel free to post them in this thread or ask one of the mods: @Stargazer, @berlyda or @Veronika.

In order to get familiar with the contest, please take a look at the RULES!

If you want to apply for a place in NSC (or if you want to return), simply send a PM to Stargazer - you'll be added to the waiting list (see above).

Please note that you are probably going to be waiting for a long time as there is a strong demand for spots on the roster. In the meantime, you may enter the Waiting List contest, vote in the semi-finals of NSC and take part in the various spin-off contests if you wish to. Don't forget that voting in the finals is compulsory.

It is a returning nations though, as Morty said !@PT# was the nation name used by Tinchey for editions 123 to 125 so he can return to the roster with those previous participations still in play ;)

Oh thanks, that was just a sloppy mistake of mine.

Also, I'm looking for someone to take over the roster/WL management duties (I will keep updating it myself until a successor is found tho). I was thinking [MENTION=4597]Stargazer[/MENTION] would probably do a great job taking care of it. But in the end it's up to [MENTION=4374]Jukica[/MENTION] and the remaining mods to find a replacement I guess.

If someone would take over full-time the collection of reju and things like that I think it would be great. I passed on the reju duties (which I should have done myself) and I am waiting for them before I can announce teh results :(

Well whether you or someone else takes over WL duties please could someone update all the individual wiki pages for each wlsc edition? it hasn't been done since 113 and we're on 140 now. I wouldn't be surprised if we have had a repeated entry or 2 at this point. xshrug thank you. :D

That's always been done voluntarily by anyone on the WL who was willing to do it, so it would probably make the most sense for you guys to do it, since you're the ones taking part. Anyone can create new pages on the wiki. :)

NSC updates-related, I will work on multiple forum updates and NSC flag smileys is first thing on my list, so expect that as soon as possible (and I am not late only with NSC flag smileys, there are a few more things I want to update, but I am struggling with time a bit).

Regarding the replacement for [MENTION=4386]anselm[/MENTION] for managing of WL, we will also see about that since I need to check with anselm and the rest of NSC mods before doing that. I will then make an announcement about NSC Mods/managing of WL/anything else. :D But since things like this one need discussions, expect at least 1-2 weeks before I will announce anything.
