Waiting list (WL) rules:

• Voting in each final of NSC as part of the waiting list jury is compulsory.
• Any waiting list nations who fail to vote will be moved 2 places down on the list.
• Nations who fail to vote 2 finals in a row will be removed from the list.
• Under certain circumstances waiting list nations can take a break from voting in the finals if a solid reason is given. During that period of time the position of the nation on the waiting list remains frozen and it can move neither up nor down.
• Nations with 'NSC XXX' beside them will debut/return in the next contest.
• Nations with 'NSC XXX?' beside them can send a reserve entry to the next contest.

First of all, welcome to NSC! If you have any questions regarding the contest, feel free to post them in this thread or ask one of the mods: @Stargazer, @berlyda or @Veronika.

In order to get familiar with the contest, please take a look at the RULES!

If you want to apply for a place in NSC (or if you want to return), simply send a PM to Stargazer - you'll be added to the waiting list (see above).

Please note that you are probably going to be waiting for a long time as there is a strong demand for spots on the roster. In the meantime, you may enter the Waiting List contest, vote in the semi-finals of NSC and take part in the various spin-off contests if you wish to. Don't forget that voting in the finals is compulsory.

Wondering when that'll end up cancelled.... Oh wait, this ain't FOX, oh well...

I thought I must be the only person outside of the US that watches that It started off two episodes a week, now it's one every two weeks It's the strangest and most drawn-out death of a show I have ever witnessed I guess the live feed will keep going for the whole year though.

Ahaha, actually I've never watched it but it was just lol how they've spent 50 mln dollars for it, to have it pulled and cancelled...

The funniest part is that it's a live reality show, so even though they know they've fucked up, they can't just end it because they've promised these guys a year there So instead they're just phasing out the TV coverage... Eventually it'll just be a bunch of people living on an abandoned plot of land in the middle of nowhere for no reason

The funniest part is that it's a live reality show, so even though they know they've fucked up, they can't just end it because they've promised these guys a year there So instead they're just phasing out the TV coverage... Eventually it'll just be a bunch of people living on an abandoned plot of land in the middle of nowhere for no reason

I think you're right actually. I thought the live feed was still going, but I've just read that it's been stopped, so I guess they probably went home (they're allowed to walk out of the gates at any time anyway). But I want to believe that they're still there, living in their own "utopia" which is actually exactly the same as their life back home That was the stupidest part of the show - the idea was to develop a community with its own unique structure and ideals, but instead they just created a miniature version of capitalism

We should create "Natia", where everyone country has their role, and the WL people could be like the immigrants trying to move in.

Oussou Empire hasn't missed 1 edition. I had a secret NF going on, so I sent a back-up entry in case I wouldn't be able to send the winner of my secret NF. Here is the proof:

I said that I'll make known if I'd keep the entry I submitted or not before the deadline, but two days ago an acquaintance of mine died in a car accident so these past two days were terrible for me, and now I just had the chance to come online. But I did sent an entry before the deadline.

The reason why I don't reveal the song I sent is because I asked pras if he can accept the winner of my secret NF (since he didn't reveal my entry in the first place). If not, then I'm OK with the song I sent initially.

Didn't realise it was possible until today. (When it was too late) So I'm going to look for a song now and send a reserve entry for the next contest regardless of whether it looks possible or not.

I also might have gotten distracted after getting Smash Bros the other day.......

It's technically possible to send a reserve entry even when you're #30 on the WL. And when you're #1 it should be totally obvious.
