Filip Rudan really deserves Eurovision... He could do really, really well with a good song. (I mean that song in the video even is a good song but maybe not the right stuff for Eurovision, especially not for televoters)

I think he deserves to go next... even with this song he could qualify I think due to his charisma and vocals... the song is actually really good but yeah maybe not impactful enough...

Hopefully someone more creative will succeed her, someone who can bring the necessary changes to the format and select more charismatic and modern participants (that excludes Rudan of course ).

IMO Filip is a very generic artist who lacks originality and uniqueness that can make him stand out of many (actually mass production of) similar singers.

Though that is simply my personal view of him and it doesn't mean he is not likeable (or a good singer or person) because generic singers in fact suit many (general audience) tastes.

I'd like to see Croatia thrilling the ESC audience with sth new and unique. The "At least Croatia made progress and didn't send an emo / Balkan ballad" was nice to hear, but it wasn't enough to qualify to the final last year.

184 is a big no of submission for a small country like Croatia. Hopefully there are some good ones there.

For now we know that all 2021 Dora contestants submitted new songs for Dora 2022, which doesn't appear as very ecxiting nor appealing.

The only new names that leaked are 2 former The Voice participants Dino Petrić and Mahir Kapetanovic, both great vocalists.

Mahir though is the only one who appears "out of the Dora box" and thus interesting.

Also 2 very strong young vocalists with an actual career applied, that being Tina Vukov and Mia Dimšić.

My fav till now is Dimšić

The rest of the leaked applicants' names are actually no singers, but rather reality tv "stars" or TikTokers.

And that's what makes Dora a poor competition in comparison to Sanremo and some Scandinavian festivals/contests.

OK, quite a nice list! Most excited for Mia and Ella. Out of the new names, Tia and Marko Bosnjak are both signed to "Republika" and they only release good, modern and polished songs with great visuals (https://www.youtube.com/c/VlahoMusic/videos)... and both songs were written by Vlaho, who is an amazing singer.

He is Croat from Prozor Rama town in Bosnia and Herzegovina!
But does he have Croatian citzenship? Can he trake part at Dora?
