1996. (Solo) - 2nd place


1997. (with Magazin) - 7th place


1998. (with Magazin) - 6th place


1999. (with Magazin) - 5th place


2000. (with Magazin) - 5h place


2005. (with Magazin) - 2nd place, out of all wrong choices of Croatia (and there were a lot of them xrollinglol), I regret most for this one xcry1


2006. (with Magazin) - 8th place


2006. (Solo) - 6th place (this one is also great)


2007. (Solo) - 7th place

xrollinglol Well, 9 at all (but 6 of that 9 times were with Magazin and 3 as soloist). ;)

If she is managed to make a song like "Na svijetu sve" (Dora 1998), or ANYTHING similar, then maybe I would support her. But it was with Magazin and it was something different. "Aha" (Dora 1996) was pretty good too.

I also do not see similarities between Nostalgija and Na svijetu sve. Btw, same author wrote both songs so than he would plagiary himself. xrollinglol

You do not hear even similarities? Really? I think some parts are the same. But I am not a studied musician or so that I could properly judge; it is just my impression which might be far off. :)

The Croatian Eurovision site eurosong.hr has lead a query with a question “Who do you want to represent Croatia in Malmö” over the last few weeks. After a month of voting, the winner was Franka Batelić, who tried to represent Croatia twice before.

Franka Batelic... I only liked one song from her. Both of her Dora tries were pretty dull/dated and I doubt she wouldve achieved anything at ESC with those songs.

It's too bad Nina wasted her chance at ESC with such a non-song, she should get another shot in the future.

In some TV show Jelena said that she doesn't want to go at esc. xshrug She still continues with same story - afraid of bad placement. Now she has alibi "with what happen to Nina Badric". :rolleyes:

In this interview eurosong.hr that did that query, Franka said if she got internal purpose by HRT, that she would happily accept it. ;)

I've only heard a handful of songs by Batelić, I have to say that her typical songs are pretty meh. If she's given a good song then why not :D. My top choice is still Rozga

I'd only like to see Jelena Rozga if she does a ballad or something along the lines of a modern Marija Magdalena (or something like Nazaret).

Her current style is annoying as hell imo.
