I don't think race/color is a big factor when viewers vote (or juries for that matter). We wouldn't have gotten Loreen or Dave Benton as winners otherwise. Singers/Groups don't make a big fuss over their race/color, music is what really matters. It's as straightforward as that, at least in my opinion.

At the same time Anggun was last with voters. Not that it proves anything, just saying. :'D I guess it's about the song after all. :D

Anggun had a bad song...

Again seems like people are using the race card as an excuse for when songs they liked failed

I didn't say it was because of her race. Actually I think her song was pretty good, it was the confusing mess of a performance that ruined it. :)

Loreen had a black dancer, and he had a big part of the performance

Give that song to the whitest Frenchie out there, and maintain the same **** show of a performance that Anggun did, I bet people wouldn't vote for it neither. Her calling her performance "show à l'américaine" made me laugh though

I once read a news in BBC about Andrew Lloyd-Webber accused racism as the main factor of UK's failure in Eurovision, you can check it here

BBC News - Andrew Lloyd Webber makes Eurovision racism claim

But again for me, it's about the song.. Jade Ewen did it quite good. She secured the Top 5 place for the UK with that gracious gorgeous song. And by using the same formula in 2010 (when BBC invited Pete Waterman to wrote song for the UK after successfully brought Lloyd-Webber in 2009), UK came last. Racism? No. Again, it's about the song..
