Well, my first time as the new Canadian juror was a disaster - 27th place with 12 points, my worst showing ever as a WV juror. To those who did support me, thank you, at least some people liked a song that has been a personal favorite of mine for many years
Time to go back to the drawing board and think up a new plan for WV47 - I just might have to bring out someone big to reverse Canada's fortunes!

WV47 Update: In an attempt to turn fortunes around, Canada's public broadcast consortium has given the green light to bring out one of our biggest names to represent us at the next edition

Céline is glorious.
If your thinking of something from her latest album, Somebody Loves Somebody or Breakaway are both excellent imo.
But A New Day Has Come and I Drove All Night are two of my all time Céline favorites.

I can't wait for you to hear the song I chose from her, it only came out on a compilation album 3 days ago and she sounds amazing on it. When I heard it for the first time, I immediately thought to myself "That's the one!"
