Maybe this is one of the reasons for the decision. They are not sure that they could handle both things.

Maybe that's why they are not taking part? They are hoping that Italy will be like Nah we cool, Bulgaria can do it. So any budget they could have spare would go on hosting it.

Now y'all are sad, but if they were in and would have chosen their song y'all would be like "no finals for :bg: again", "this song is awful" .....

I don't mean that Bulgaria sends crappy songs, but I mean the rise of crappy comments as soon as any song is up.

So, Bulgaria, you saved yourself from getting judged for nothing, well played!

It's just sad how Eurovision fandom turns fans into amateur judges.

Judging a contest itself by the number of its participants. Judging the songs as soon as they are up. Judging the stage, the design, the scoreboard. Judging the final results by their worthiness. Judging the impact of post-eurovision depression.

Everything's judged based on personal taste and anticipation.

Well, I'm not being funny but Eurovision fans do become amateur judges when they vote in the shows.

What else are we supposed to do? Be mindless brainless creatures without personal opinion and just stare at the things that happen around us in the world?

For me being judgmental is not the same as having an opinion. Despite that, music is art. That is why many renowned and established artists avoid Eurovision because they don't want their art to get judged and ranked for a party.

I'm late to the pity party. Sorry to see Bulgaria out once again. We were this close to having them back. It's a shame cause we would have made it to the the precious 40 country mark and now we're stuck with an uneven number of participants. Oh well, maybe in 2016

Santa, hear my prayer.. please bring Bulgaria back to the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. It's not too late. It's all I want for Christmas (besides the 108 items on my Amazon wish list). I'm wondering if you know of a gentleman called Ralph Siegel? Ralph, meet Sofi. *Boom Poof* Magic.
