Brittany is back!

It's been a while...
but finally, this glorious region of France is
returning to WorldVision following a very long
break! There'll be lots to offer, from Celtic
Folk all the way to Pop, so Brittany will be in
the interests of everyone.

Following my time in the observation period, I can easily say that some countries are already my favourites... and others aren't so much Nevertheless, it's an amazing variety of music that just adds to the unpredictability of this contest, which is what I enjoy a lot. Oh, and a big thanks for the low-key welcome and the general welcoming atmosphere!

But I do have a question... does Brittany apply to the cultural region or the administrative region? It most likely won't affect what I send, but I'm interested to know ^^

And apparently I can become an owner of this thread? I don't know... other people have been mentioning ownership from time to time

Brittany 52

Gwalarn - Karantez Vro

Karantez Vro (fr: L'amour du pays, en: Love of the Country) is a Breton poem by Anjela Duval, which was then interpreted by the musical group Gwalarn (along with Véronique Autret). Furthermore, Nolwenn Leroy also interpreted the poem in her 2010 album Bretonne, which has somewhat become an anthem of the Breton people.

The poem-turned-song is about a young woman who was in love with a sailor, who only cared about cities, the sea and further away countries, while the woman cares about her homeland, Brittany. The poem is about the heartbreak she goes through when she breaks up with the sailor, and explains why (in this case, she didn't want to be in love with a person who didn't care about her most important thing - Brittany).

I know you were stating your opinion, and I don't mean to attack you. It's just that you've stated this opinion countless times on multiple threads and platforms. It just seems a bit over the top.
