SHORT BIOGRAPHY



Maja Berović (born 8 July 1987), known by her stage name Maya, is a Bosnian pop-folk singer. Born in a village near Sarajevo, her professional career began when she was signed to Belgrade-based record label Grand Production, aged 19. She has since become one of the leading pop singers in the region, with five studio albums and multiple singles.



Jasmin Fazlić (born 16 October 1986), better known by his stage names Jala or Jala Brat, is a Bosnian rapper. He represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 together with Dalal Midhat-Talakić, Deen and Ana Rucner. He is the co-author of the 2016 Bosnian Eurovision entry "Ljubav je". He's mostly known for his work alongside Bosnian rapper Buba Corelli, with whom he has over 30 songs, including two albums.



Amar Hodžić (born 22 September 1989), known by his stage name Buba Corelli is a Bosnian rapper known for known for the speed and manner of rapping. He began rapping around 2004, even recording his first song with a friend in a group called the Corelli Duo, where his stage name comes from. When the Corelli duo broke up, Hodžić didn't rap again until 2009. Soon Hodžić took the stage name Buba Corelli and met Jasmin Fazlić, known as Jala Brat. The two began collaborating recording the EP Sin City, released in March 2013.

A lack of likes or comments in a thread doesn't mean people don't like your songs. Most people probably just forget to visit the green room threads and comment on the songs (I know I do most of the time).

With that being said, I really enjoyed your song and I hope it qualifies!

Yup, you are right! Many times songs I enjoy, also do not say it in thread. Thank you for those nice words.
Even if it wasn't among top faves, if few persons enjoy it, my goal is accomplished.

I again leave ...first time I left it I promised to come back and I did it! This time I also say it is not forever but I do not know when I will comeback (or if ever). If I continue to play WV in longer future I think I surely will come back. But I can't describe how I'm dissapointed because it seems that Bosnia can't qualify without esc star...and I reject to send again Hari, Merlin or something related to Feminnem. I sent beautiful Balkan ballads like Armin Muzaferija, Zdravko Čolić or Anika through English songs like Calyana and Maja Nurkic...I have had few songs on my "must sent list" but simply can't go from one disappoint to another so I decided to not send them...yet! Because do not want to see them failing after another...but maybe in future...Simply, at this point seems like nothing works so I go for a change!

I'm sure [MENTION=4368]Milos-BC[/MENTION] will continue amazing job for this country! I wish him all the best!

is free to be taken as a region, at this point there is no way for me to solo-lead any region so I will have to withdraw completely. Hopefully only till December but we will see.

So here's the plan, similar to Venezuela and Slovenia we'll see a mix of everything squeezed into 3-4 entries. Most probably starting with sevdah, followed by 70s dance smash track and a more avant-garde synthpop piece. All suggestions and wishes are more than welcome! ^^

After Divanhana pretty much slayed all of y'all, I am hereby announcing that the next Bosnian-Herzegovian entry will be an 70s dance track... think Boney M or even Dschinghis Khan. I hope that this song has the same response as Banane had! Now it's only left for you to wait and see.

After the worst result in the past 5 edition I decided to leave Bosnia and Herzegovina with only 3 entries in. The last one (WV 62) will be a deeply personal entry made by an avantgarde synth instrumentalist born in Sarajevo. This entry will be closely related to the sound of what Arca had when representing Venezuela. As for our next region/country all I can say for now is that I am returning as a juror of one of my favourite countries/regions ( & are obviously not being considered). More information after WV 61 final results. ^^

Your favourite broadcaster BHRT (Radio and Television of Bosnia-Herzegovina) has collected money for participation in WV66. Unfortunately, broadcaster has not enough funds for National Final and on June 13, 2016 it was announced that artist and song will be chosen through internal selection.
