re: BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA 2015

A question to y'all: Does anyone know how many Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs respectively have represented this complex nation so far?

Well lets see:
8 Bosniaks - 11 entries (Muhamed Fazlagić Fazla, Alma Čardžić - twice, Amila Glamočak, Dino Merlin - twice, Deen, Hari Mata Hari - twice, Laka and Maya Sar)
3 Serbs - (Maja Tatić, Marija Šestć and Vukašin Brajić)
3 Croats - (Nino Pršeš, Mija Martina, Feminnem girls)

Regina members are Aleksandar Čović and Bojan Milićević (Serbs), Davor Ebner (Croat) and Denis Čabrić (Bosniak) and i have no idea what nationality was Davorin Popović. And BTW Bosnia had one French girl (Beatrice from 1999)

And Tonci Huljic, Zeljko Joksimovic and Goran Bregovic are invited to participate on song?
Tonci already confirmed he is called to write (or) participate on song! It could be bombastic I see!

I just imagine a song composed by these three to be completely invincible!

I was bored by the sad Balkan ballads for a while, but now I am looking forward to hearing something like that soon.

It could be the winning sound of 2015, I suppose.

Is it possible to get bored by Balkan ballads? I haven't managed it yet.

Okay, so it's not that bad actually like in Football, where the national football team only consists of Bosniaks and very few Croats.

But, have there been ethnic Croats or Serbs who chose to represent Croatia and Serbia respectively?

As y'all know it's only the Bosniaks who are proud of Bosnia & Herzegovina, whereas the other major constituencies struggle to cope with Bosnian identity.

Well, sometimes there were just too many of them.

But I also have some guilty Balkan ballad pleasures, like Vukovi umiru sami, Dajes mi krila, Neka mi ne svane or the Bosnian entries of 1993 and 1994. So fine!

Huge majority of Serbs and Croats (and a big number of Bosniaks) with a good career remove from Bosnia to Croatia or Serbia what is on some way understandable. Bosnia is country with zillion and one each type of problems, economy is very low and at least Sarajevo is a small town and it can't compare with Belgrade and Zagreb. And sad truth is that only ethnical Bosniaks care for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Even in former Yugoslavia there was unwritten rule for everyone who pretend to be famous "if you want reach the top you must conquer first Zagreb than Belgrade".

Yeah, I know. When I learned from someone who is Bosnian, I asked him, if he was Serb, Croat or Bosniak. And he replied Bosniak of course, because Bosnian Serbs or Croats wouldn't tell if they were "Bosnian", since they don't identify with the Confederation. He also told me that only Bosniaks and some Croats play in the national football team and Serbs totally refuse that.

When I worked for a company, which had an office in Banja Luka, Republica Srpska, I thought that meant Serbia and I asked my employer why we would have two offices in Serbia, and I was told, that's not the case at all and that we had two offices in BiH. I was really confused, by now I understand better.

It's odd though, because Switzerland is also a Confederation, and they really stick together. They are always Swiss, although they are divided by 4 different languages, yet they have an identity.

Which are these 3 countries?

1. Republila Srpska (capital Banja Luka)
2. Cantons with Bosniaks majority (capital sarajevo)
3. Cantons with Croat majority (capital Eastern Mostar)

Well, there is a fourth part, the Brčko District. It's half Bosniak, half Serbian, so the under the supervision of the EU it became a solitary constituency.

I think, Yugoslavia should re-unite instead of partitioning into smallest entities. They'd be much stronger....

The successor states have much more debts at the World Bank than Yugoslavia. And I mean then, and not now. It seems like a master plan, because the destabilization of Yugoslavia paid off for the World Bank and the money elite.

Seeding nationalism makes blood money. Same in Ukraine y'all and elsewhere.

I really miss Bosnia & Herzegovina. Hopefully they will indeed return in 2015 and send a great entry like in most years.
Lately I've been listening to "Korake ti znam" a lot. It is a very beautiful song, and I remember I didn't like it as much back in 2012.

I really hope that B&H won't break our hearts again like last year... Although I agree that considering EBU and Jon ola have both said that there are at least 38 and Greece are deciding means surely that they are in.... I guess it's all a big guessing game until the final confirmation from the EBU in January,

I'd be thrilled to see Hari Mata Hari again. I still can't forget their performance in 2006 x12s
