I'm actually mad that Australia is in front of us in the odds... i'd rather have Portugal there if we can't be xwall

But i expect us to qualify and i will be very upset if we dont
Australian songs has some kind of feeling-good vibe. I think it can atract voters. I really like Veronika but I have some bad feelings recently. It sounds like a song that is solid, deserve to qualify but people may not get it. I had similar feelings about Georgia last year. I guess this semi isn't that easy like some people think. Australia and Azerbaijan can really qualify. Well I actualy have my fingers crossed for both Slovenia and Australia.

I think that chances of Finland are overrated. It's not locked qualifier imo. Finnish songs is like something that make people laugh but not necessarily vote for the song.

This is my dream come true right now, basically.

Not once since 2015 has my personal fave been the Eurovision winner. Most of the times my favourites weren’t even in the top 10. Most of the time I even disliked the winner.

And in a very weak 2024 of all years the two countries I want to win the most are in the lead of the betting odds. I can’t believe it.
If this happens to be top two in the GF night I‘ll be crying. Win-win, I wouldn’t even know who to root for more.

Praying that one of them is gonna win (I would be okay with France too) and not Italy or The Netherlands. Both good-ok songs but imho not winner material.

I think Finland is a lock for qualifying but I could see a scenario where it doesn't perform as well in the semis as expected. I just can't see it failing outright though.

Also I think once it reaches the final I feel like it's going to flop due to a lot of other similar attention grabbing songs being in the final with it.

Does it really work though? I remember Malta pulling off the same thing and made Destiny hope for something that wouldn't come true. She was so disappointed and it is barely her fault, honestly.

Just a note, our lottery games law forbids foreign betting houses so that by default is not true. Could be FOMO betting tho.

Haha it wasn't that serious in the first place. Although I actually do think a few delegations might have done it in the past.

It actually does, but it happens very seldom. Same as people on twitter not realizing some. Even in the biggest EU countries, less than 100k people vote, let alone the people that bet on it. It's actually much more effective to boost ITunes, Spotify & YT numbers.
I can source you a few people in the building there that are willing to admit it

San Marino gained over 11% to qualify in odds suddenly. Something is happening. Rehearsals of Austria and Belgium were deemed not suitable for televoters - not that attractive singers. If you want to make a quick buck - I'd try and see if one of those two will be swapped. I have that weird feeling Albania will also pull something based on 2023, but that one is less sure due to the new voting rules.

Why is Croatia still top? I hope it is corect, but I am wondering why Israel is not top. If israel win the televote, i am unsure croatia will catch them with the jury vote. Could of course be that Croatia actually win the televote because not everyone follows israel palestine conflict and votes based on music, but I am not sure it will be enough. Though there are betyer ballads the jury could go for, like Serbia, Portugal, Latvia and France. Let us hope they do.
