VRT is btw really stepping up the Eurovisionconcept next month. Although the viewnumbers for eurosong were not that great.

They will broadcast both semifinals and the final. On 25th april and 2 May they will broadcast " Het grote songfestivalfeest" in 2 parts which include performances of Loreen, Nemo and Käärija.

And there will be a documentaire of Red Sebastians Journey to Eurovision on the 12th of May.

This boy deserves to qualify. He has the voice and the song.
Of course, Eurovision fans pay attention to looks, but in the end, wine mums will find him cute. It is more than enough.

I love the studio version, but the live doesn't click. Idk if it's a screechy backing vocal or something else, but there's something that ruins the live for me. Luckily it's something fixable.

MNM-DJ and longlife friend of Red Sebastian Manu Van Acker will announce the Belgian points in the Eurovision final. He has become more known in Flanders in past years.

The crazy fact that the bookmakers currently have this song as a borderline qualifier in the semi AND in 6th spot for the final ...

I don't like his voice at all, but even i want it to qualify. I don't want Belgium to fail with a solid package like this. On his birthday! (but that won't matter to the viewers)
But it is tricky with so much loudness in that second half. I can see only 2 of Norway, Belgium, SM and Cyprus going through. And then there's also Croatia possibly shuffling the loudness cards and dividing the votes even more.

I don't see it doing big waves in the final, 15th perhaps.

I love visiting Belgium (both Wallonia and Flanders) and have enjoyed many of their recent ESC songs. I'd love them to win again, although not with this song...

As a possible next candidate for Flanders, K3 has said they would consider going to eurovision.

Would be awesome. They are a perfect fit for Eurovision. They couldnt participate this years since one of their members is pregnant.

They are hugely popular in Flanders and The Netherlands. The group now exists out of two belgian and one Dutch singer.

I really, really, really don't think K3 would be a "perfect fit" for Eurovision to be honest. Don't get why they want to as Eurovision is totally not their target public? (which is, for context, young kids)

Young kids do watch eurovision though. I was 4 the first time I remember watching and 7 the first time I stayed up to watch the results. Probably not a winning candidate but their target audience do probably watch

The reunionconcerts of the original K3 sold over 300.000 tickets though. 12 Sportpaleizen(Antwerp) and 8 Ahoy's ( Rotterdam). I dont think there is any other Dutch or Flemish group that can present these numbers.

Yeah because the it is the original group that will do the concerts and a whole generation grew up with Karen, Kristel and Kathleen, so it's just the nostalgia. I seriously doubt if the current trio would be able to do that.

Anyways, as a Dutchman it would be really fun to see K3 do Eurovision but I'd be afraid it would only do harm to the "product K3" (which is indeed huge). I can't imagine Studio100 agreeing to that tbh

Oh come on. K3 is for toddlers. I know the level of music dropped to an all-time low lately in ESC but this would be a bit too silly.

Dear god, please no. K3 is literally childish.

In other news: There will be 3 dancers on stage with Red Sebastian and there will be live backing vocal (not on stage though it seems)
