I wake up and I think I could use another drink
I'm reaching for a smoke to forget about last night, last night
I get up 'cause I need a shot of instant remedy
I put a record on, it makes me think about last night, last night

It all ended in the weirdest chip
He started actin' way too hip
That's why I ignored you for a long, long time
But then you had the best opening line
You're in the wrong place

You're lying next to me, I don't know where to hide
I see his smiley face that makes me wanna cry
What was I thinking? 'Cause all we did was fight
Don't you ever dare to wear my Johnny Cash t-shirt

You're in the wrong place, you're in the wrong place

You wake up and you think you won't need another drink
You don't want me to smoke, though I didn't stop last night, last night
You get up 'cause you need an organic cup of tea
You put a record on, it makes you think about last night, last night

You confuse me with your blurry eyes
Thought you were a different kind of guy
That's why I took you to my messy place
But it felt as if we were in a different space
You're in the wrong place

You're lying next to me, I don't know where to hide
I see his smiley face that makes me wanna cry
What was I thinking? 'Cause all we did was fight
Don't you ever dare to wear my Johnny Cash t-shirt

You're in the wrong place, you're in the wrong place
You're in the wrong place, you're in the wrong place
You're in the wrong place, you're in the wrong place
Don't you ever dare to wear my Johnny Cash t-shirt

juries i DESPISE you with passion for forcing me to look at alex's smug face on saturday again

overrated song, mediocre staging, shouldn't be nowhere near the final. kudos for geike's vocals (and dress) which were the only redeemable part of it

Congratulations neighbours! :D Now that was a nice surprise.

But please someone tell the delegation qualification was due to the song and Geike's voice... NOT the staging!

Seriously, Pancake's magic worked once in 2014 and that's it. I'm glad Hooverphonic made it despite the visuals, because it would not have been that hard to give them a more appealing staging imo.

Tumblr, mostly.
I like the staging. The idea is to take a spin around Geike's mind as she's unravelling into insanity. The issue for me is the camerawork. Slow and monentum-slaying spinning, get some fucking NEW material Hans Pancake.

Congrats, decent song (although a bit boring for me personally), it was however on my list of personal qualifiers (like #10 or so but still).

I am leaning towards that this was saved by the juries though rather than televoters.

But what's with the Blair Witch themed backdrop?

Lol that's the idea? That's definitely not showing

I was honestly very surprised when this was announced, did not expect that AT ALL after that non-event of a performance. Glad for them that they qualified though, despite me being not really a fan of the band.

In a tough semi-final, this one taking a spot felt lowkey like such a waste, it's just really not my type of song even though I appreciate the artists for what they do. I'm 100 % sure the juries put this in the top 3

What a fabulous classy song. Really stood out for me. I wouldn't be surprised if the juries indeed did the heavy work in carrying to this to the final but I also wouldn't be surprised if the televote put it in their top 10. It's definitely an option for people who like a slower darker more subtle vibe and I'm sure there's lots of them. My musician of a boyfriend said how it's definitely the most "harmonically interesting" song of the semi.

I screamed so hard when they were announced, I expected the worst having got to 9th qualifier... People complaining they robbed Croatia's spot, come on, this was classy and Geike's looking was mesmerizing. It is not Belgium who stole Albina's grand final chances...

Surprised Geike found the stage, thought all she was seeing were her hair bangs. Gurl be rocking that early 00's fringe.

Glad this qualified and that toned down stagings still have a place in the contest. Captivated me from the beginning (the stellar instrumental may have helped as well).

Thats a nice surprise. I think they got a very good televote and will surprise again in the final.

I like the song, it's moody af and sits comfortably in my top 10, but the live performance doesn't elevate it as it should. My main problem comes with Geike's attitude, her face is always tilted toward the upper left corner of the screen and her expressions give us the impression she's shouting or crying. It's quite off-putting.

I think the televoters also appreciated it quite a bit. The audience which loved Calm After The Storm also should love this

It's not flamboyant nor extravagant, that is why Eurofans underestimate their appeal.
