I am not that impressed by Loic Nottet after listening to some of his performances, but this first impress can easily change until ESC season really starts.
Hopefully Belgium will choose the right song for him.

I am not impressed from what I heard from him so far. He sings well, but, I don't know, he doesn't have any special charisma.

We will see though, maybe the song will change everything on the better.

He is a better choice than him, that's for sure, although I think you can do even better

This guy a pretty bad singer, so Belgium is not doing itself any favours. They could have easily found a better singer than him at the local mall. But still, a lot of people criticized their 2013 entry en it turned out to one of the favourites for my and many other. The problem is i'm not seeing that happening with this guy. Oh well, now it's waiting for the song i guess and Belgium must hope its really good or really catchy

What I don't like about Belgium is that for three years in a row they have sent karaoke singing contest rejects. It's an immediate turnoff for me (yes, massive hypocrite alert as Rona Nishliu once did one).

I'm tired of all these caterwauling diva's, screeching out pop covers and this guy here, literally is a shining example of such a singer. It makes me want to throw something at a wall. There is nothing behind it all. It's just showboating nonsense.



I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt though as I remember thinking similar things of Conchita and look how that turned out. To Loïc's credit, there is a rawness there which could be endearing. He seems more promising than Roberto (who I still thought was bad when he hit the stage) and Iris (who I actually assumed was from a singing contest too but I couldn't find any info).

I like Loic's voice. I have a tendency to like voices that are a bit on the harsh side...
Everything will now depend on the song. And the performance in Vienna. So I still dont have a clue what I will think of Belgium 2015.
Good luck though! A decent result for Belgium would be deserved.

Iris (who I actually assumed was from a singing contest too but I couldn't find any info).

She was discovered in a talent competition, organised by the youth magazine, Joepie. She attracted the attention of Maurice Engelen, the owner of a small record company, SonicAngel. The rest is history...
