I was shocked that this got such a high place (because12th is a high place in ESC, especially for a country like Belgium), but I have to admit his performance last night was his best ever. I haven't seen him being more confident in his performance, and vocally he was very good.

Indeed, it was in the beginning of the news this noon with a large report. I watched the Journal de 13H on France2, they only said at the end of the news that Denmark won and France was 23rd Only 15 seconds of report.

Probably the best song overall in this years final. Very nice that Roberto gave his best performance in yesterday night. Song is 10 in Swedish itunes chart which proves that Sweden loves him also. We gave him a 7 yesterday which I've very happy with!!! Big ups to la Belgique!!

anyway, in Belgium, the contest is more watched in the north (dutch part) than in the south (french part). and maybe the random walloon guy didn't like L'enfer et moi ?

No they hate us, like Switzerland, when it comes to culture or such things because they see us as invaders and think that the secret dream of French is that French Belgium becomes a French region (well I don't know who dreams about that). Since I heard most of Belgian fans saying they'd never vote for any French songs, what would it be... Add to that that Belgian jury gave 0 point to Patricia Kaas... And Belgian "head fans" said they were right because France deserve no point...

Anyway, I sent text messages for Roberto Bellarosa and I'm very proud we gave 5 points to him !

yeah you're right the french belgian people tend to dislike the french people because we find you arrogant, chauvinistic, etc... and you, french guys, would love to see Wallonia as a new french region if Belgium splits, but the great majority here don't want that at all, some say they would die instead of living in a french wallonia

What better entries? "Would You" was dull and uninspiring, "With Love" wasn't bad but clearly lacked momentum and rhythm (+ it almost qualified), "Me & My Guitar" got a very good placing, "Copycat" was beyond awful.

So yeah, "Love Kills" belongs up there in the list of the better Belgian entries in the last few years. I am delighted with this 12th place, it's soooo much better than I expected, and Roberto nailed his final performance: he was so much more relaxed, and he was so cute at the end. His song doesn't seem to be doing too bad on the charts either.

We can't stand eachother, always make fun of eachother, when you see someone who can't drive : "oh yeah that explains, she/he's Dutch". And still we can't live without eachother.
