But I do notice that after 2:20 Roberto lowered eight grades, He really can't sing as high as the original version before the end of the song.

I like it much more, but I feel his live performance will be a low point. It's climbed from 24th to 20th in my personal ranking. I think I would put it a bit higher if that horrible part at 2:10 would've been edited out.

Completely agreeing. I like this song! But I really think he is weak! I can't understand why, since I searched also for his performance on the talent show!

I don't think that whispering echoes and other artifacts won't save him.....

I think they did the best they could with the song. Its gone in the right direction. Surely some good backing vocals and vocal training will help him sing half decent on the night. I dont think this song will be last in its semi. I wouldnt even be shocked if it made the final.
