Analysis? Belarus have ruined a good song. It's not bad, it just lost all the great things it had. The heavy piano, all the drama. Such a shame It's gone from a song that could do well at Eurovision to one that'll struggle to qualify

That's one of two things that's better, the other being the slower piano intro. But it's just as QwaarJet says. The chorus is so lackluster

I just compared them then. I can see now that Maimuna's violin isn't as forceful and upfront in the chorus, and that the songs structure has been changed a bit. The chorus isn't as full as it was, but I think the bridge of the song is better. That's a positive at least.

It's not really the violin the chorus, it's that they've completely removed the strong drumming. That (for me at least) is what has negatively impacted this version the most.

Yeah, I could feel something had been stripped away from it when I listened. That's a shame really. The song builds a bit better now though, but i'm probably not one for passing comment on it as I haven't listened to the original version much at all.

I'm following the opinions shown by others, the violin solo part is pretty good, I like that, but the rest of the song has lost impact and power within the song. I've moved it down to a 4 from a 6.

I would keep the first version with violin parts of the second version. That's the only thing that really improved.
This one lacks...volume, depth, power...First intro was so much better as well.
I wouldn't say they ruined it but they definitely took something away from it, i'm not happy(

Was she ever a presence in the song? I barely notice she's there in the first version. Her violin gets drowned out.

The first version had a heavier bass piano and drumbeat to it, but it felt like a one trick pony to me and I never felt it achieved the drama it was so obviously going for. The new one is a bit more tuneful and attempts to build to something. The problem, of course is that it doesn't get there.

Well, for me the impression is the same. I thought 'Time' could improve a lot thanks to its potential, but... I mean that I like as before because changes aren't meaningful for me. Not worse, but not better.
