It's hard to judge artistic choices (I mean, Verka got Barbara Dex and also Rona Nishliu which is ridiculous), but I guess somebody has to win and there are SO MANY choices we have this year.
However, Malta leads here for me by far. While some other strange choices might have some artistic value (maybe?!), Malta just looks tacky and cheap, both pink and silver versions.

I'm sorry but I just can't help but find these people who came up with this just your regular sad nerds, at risk of stereotyping or sounding like some 80s-90s Hollywood film. I'd hate to see what they'd consider best dressed, I bet it would just be something very bland and what the most average, boring person on the planet would probably find normal! I suppose personally being born in 1992 and Facebook becoming big just before I left school, I just don't always want to be on the internet or computers non-stop for the rest of my life.

Of all the acts of semi 2, I have to agree with those who picked

Not because he is wearing contemporary fashion per se (because we've seen in the past Barbara Dex went to people who wore costumes or avant-garde fashion, which is misunderstanding the point of that award imo), but because I feel like Gjon's ensemble does not work.I googled him quickly and it seems he likes this type of loose outfits, but it does not look flattering imo. I will ruffle the feathers of the people who adhere to the "wear-what-you-want-you'll-kill-it-anyway" motto, because I don't believe that. Of course I'm all for people wearing whatever they want, but that does not mean they will look amazing: clothes cuts are a thing, and so are body types.
Pairing too loose items was a mistake, as it gives Gjon a silhouette bulkier than his actual one. My recommendation would have been to let go of one of the two, and pair the remaining one with a skin-tight piece to balance things out: either keep the oversize shirt and have him wear close-fitting pants, or vice versa.
The reasons why Senhit is getting away with loose top and bottom is because her corset accentuates her waist line, it all seems more balanced. Gjon should have followed that rule too.
Apart from him, I don't have any complaint really. To me, everyone seems to have made an effort to look at least decent (just kidding, the Danes are borderline, the fabric of their clothes looks cheap).
On a positive note, the one that stood out to me is
: Not only forest green suits Samanta super well, but the details on the dress - from the slit to the ruff to the hanging jewels on her gloves - create an elegant, sexy, yet distinctive look. It's very her I think. What about you?
