well they have a show in Birmingham on wednesday night and seem to release a video for their song "Cruel" on the same day
if the Australian presentation is live (anybody knows?) then I think they could be ruled out

Haven't heard one way or another on whether our presentation will be live, so while The Veronicas being in Birmingham makes it a little less likely to be them it doesn't rule them out. They could even do the reveal from there anyway - how about a reveal at their live show work? It feels like they're targeting the reveal logistics more towards a European audience than an Australian one anyway: the announcement is at 9AM Thursday on the Australian West Coast, ie. a time when the majority of the country will be at work, school, or on transport.
I'm feeling like our most likely representative at this point is either Guy Sebastian, The Veronicas or Dami Im, and I'd be fine with any of them as long as their song was good. This is nothing but speculation, though.

No one talks about Jessica Mauboy anymore, does that mean she's arleady out of competiton? I'd love to see her in Vienna and her new song The Day Before I Met You is nice and the lyrics are sooo cute: "If I had a time machine, I would never go back to the day before I met you" AWW
