As to the second semi-final, I got 6/10, which is ok.

This semi was indeed weaker than the first one, but there were a bunch of good songs that deserved to get through.
Thankfully, all the songs I liked the most qualified :
I was ok with qualifying.
However and are useless, I rather would have seen and . I hope they'll get bad draws for this moral damage.
is ok-ish but a little bit annoying towards the end, so could have made it instead.

Wow, the final is gonna rock this year! All my hot favourites are still in the game! And for a change, we'll see quite a lot of countries that aren't usually in the final : montenegro, san marino, slovenia, austria, switzerland, poland... But what shocked me is that we won't see any Baltic country! Even Lithuania who seemed to almost always qualify is out.

All my favourites made it and Lithuania, Israel, Ireland and Macedonia - all songs I didn't like at all - failed I couldn't be happier with the results.

8/10 I predicted Ireland and Israel to make it instead off Switzerland and Belarus. I am really happy that many countries that don't usually qualify and usually do quite bad have qualified.

Not 100% since you can't agree with everything, but this year results have been better than ever. Not so many dramas like last year (San Marino, Israel, the whole ex.Yugo) or 2010 (Croatia, Sweden, Slovakia...).

Semi 2 was perfect until they announced Belarus. Israel was robbed.

In semi 1 it was atrocious to see Iceland qualifying again with this song instead of Belgium or Estonia.

But hey, it's usually worse!

What I meant is, is that for a change countries that don't make it often, like Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland & Poland have all made it....

Fisrt Semi: Yes! I'm very pleased, all my favs with the exception of Latvia made it.
Second Semi: not so much. I only liked 8 of the songs (3 I really love Israel, Norway and Austria - 1 I really like Poland - 4 I like Macedonia Slovenia Georgia and Ireland) and only 4 made it. I'm very sad for Mei. (Still can't believe it tbh) and a little annoyed many songs I really, strongly(!) dislike made it through instead. (Looking at you Greece and Belarus! With the possible addition of Romania.)

Semi 1 I was near enough ecstatic, only slightly upset over Latvia.


Semi 2 is a completely different matter though. I lost three of my favourites Macedonia, Lithuania and Georgia. Both Macedonia and Georgia were slight disappointments, visually and vocally but I still would have liked them through. Lithuania on the other hand were sensational and truly robbed I believe. They gave the most solid performance of the night. Everything was perfect executed and on point. Vilija was on fire.

Slovenia was dull and really shouldn't have made the final. Switzerland.. were ok but nothing more. The far superior Malta (who i'm delighted managed to make it from position 1) should have been enough. We didn't need two folk songs through. The novelty one with the poor English should have stayed back and perhaps been replaced with the interesting, experimental entry of Georgia. Now who would I take out to give Lithuania their place? To be honest i'd probably choose Poland. I said earlier on that i'd put Poland in my top 10 for this semi even though I disliked the song for diversity but Lithuania had just a much cooler, edgier song that wasn't relying on T&A. I would have thought Belarus would have been my choice to switch around with but TEO was a pleasant surprise and gave a really competent, enjoyable performance.

Quite happy overall. Would perhaps like to have Albania back at the expense of, say, Montenegro, and would switch Georgia or Lithuania who had very good performances with Greece, who were quite simply an awful mess and didn't deserve this final.
I would ditch Romania too, of course.

Lithuania was truly sensational, I agree, but it was much better seen from rehearsal point of view, with a quiet camera work, than with the real camera work that naturally didn't show everything they were doing and which was really worth watching.

I wasn't very happy with some of the performances' camera work tbh.

Almost every qualifiers are okay to me, except for the song but the voice is really great so i don't mind it, and because of the song, better exchange to for me

Second SF:
I can't believe they put meh songs like , on the final instead of and , but i'm really happy they put and on the final, really worth it
