First Semi Final,

I never expected Montenegro & Azerbaijan to qualify and I don't see them deserve to be honest. Maybe the most boring ones of the night. I'd rather Albania & Latvia or Albania & Portugal to qualify instead of those both. But afterall the qualifiers in general are very well. Also in a way that's good Montenegro to qualify, as that's the only song qualified that is not in English. I am happy, just a little broken with Albania.

No. But then again, I didn't like any song in this semi, so I couldn't care less who would qualify

Latvia and Portugal instead of Russia and Hungary/Armenia and it would've been perfect. :D

Swap San Marino (sorry) and Russia for Albania and Latvia and it would have been my top-10. Not that Albania or Latvia were in my top-5 in semi 1 so I'm not going to complain.

I knew with my personal favourites I couldn't have it all tonight but I think I should be very happy overall:p

When it came down to it, Valentina was the only person my heart was aching for when that board with the results on came up. Happy for Sweden and Azerbaijan (but they were obvious). Delighted for Pollaponk but i'm very sad for Aarzemnieki. Also Hersiana my heart aches quite a bit for.

I don't think there is anyone in the final who doesn't deserve it. I was even slightly won over by Ukraine. I still think the song is atrocious but they really made the best of what they had and the performance was one of the best on the night.

If I could, i'd probably swap Armenia with Latvia as Aram's performance was a bit underwhelming after all the hype.

I'm never satisfied in semifinals, but I'm usually mostly satisfied in the finals.

For semi 1 I said I'd be happy as long as Iceland, Moldova and Albania stayed out. One of them is in, so I can't be happy, but well, at least it was one of them and I only had one big loss.

I think semi 2 will be more dramatic.

I'm very happy for :sm: - what a sensation!
Valentina did really good and I think she earned the final herself by hard skilled professional work tonight. She didn't get anything for free this year, so hat off for her and good luck in the final.

I think :ee: and Tanja did really good as well and I'm surprised they didn't made it to the final. I'm glad for well deserved :ru: q and ashamed by the audience behaviour - barbarians! At least one Elefantöl too much there.

I am, kind of. Compared to the energy Portugal gave and the amazing atmosphere from Latvia, I'm disappointed they didn't get through. Azerbaijan has a fantastic song, however the execution tonight wasn't the best at all, and I really don't think Dilara deserved to qualify tonight. Russia and San Marino also shouldn't have qualified imo, but I'm happy Valentina finally made it. Montenegro was a really pleasant surprise, although Sergej absolutely gave it his all. My sister hates ballads like that and she was there falling around the floor dancing to Moj Svijet. All in all it was an alright result.

My unhappiness about Albania not making and Russia actually making it is obliterated by my favourite song (Montenegro) and my favourite person in Eurovision (Valentina) making it. Thursday I feel will be a bad day for me, with Israel, Malta and Ireland all songs I love.

The songs in my prediction were actually the songs that I wanted to qualify in this first semi. 8/10 is not that bad, I guess. I hoped for Belgium, Portugal and Estonia to qualify. I can accept San Marino, but Iceland is just a big joke as qualifier in my eyes.

No! How did :is: Ice-bad get through?! :md: was robbed! How could a song that bad from Iceland get through? When Iceland produced a masterpiece in 2012, they only got 20th place; this means that Iceland 2014 has a chance to beat it! WHAT?!?! Moldova's song this year was a true masterpiece, and dare I say it, one of the best songs of the year.
I also would have liked :al: to qualify instead of :am: or :nl:.
