They don't come across arrogant for not wanting their song to get a revamp.
The last two Albanian revamps were utterly tragic and decreased Albania's chances to qualify - especially "Titan" sounded trashy, cheap and kinda ridiculous.

Unlike other FiK winners, "Zjerrm" is already 3:10 and would suit the ESC rules.
Also, the arrangement already sounds polished, rich in instruments and very organic.
I still think that the speaking part needs to be improved but as previously mentioned, it could be done via additional vocals in the live version or accompanied by special effects during the performance.

Btw, it seems that the duo wants to include another male singer if they succeed, they would revamp the song.. otherwise, they would like the song to stay as it is (which us perfectly fine).
Actually, I think it's alright to let the song be the way it won a national final before turning it into a mess (e.g. Titan, Sekret or even changing it for a more generic mess like Malta 2022).

if the singer accepts the offer, Zjerm will undergo some minor adjustments to incorporate his vocal contribution. Otherwise, the song will remain in its original form as it was performed during the FiK 63 final.

When you think of it - the majority of songs do not get a revamp after they have been chosen and for decades we didn‘t even have a single revamp.

Seems to me that the call for revamps could also be motivated by the wish to have something to discuss in the fandom (or to revive the attention for the song).

Why do I feel like Elvana would've won it with Ardit Cunis song?

Karnaval really grew on me, it's just a fun and catchy dance banger and I really hope we'll see Elvana on ESC stage soon xheat
I needed a few days to get over the disappointment and I can now appreciate Zjerm. Will give it :8: for now xheart

I loved "Karnaval" too..
I would be sattisfied with it in Basel as well..

12 in the poll..

My first choices and two songs I listen a lot on spotify are Alis (came 3rd in the end) and Algert Sala - "Bosh" hred

Loved Vesa Smollica too.. Amazing FiK edition in my book..

I simply knew smrth has to go wrong when they announced it will stay IN Albanian language... The idea for THIS to feature Luiz Ejlli is extremely silly...I mean I love him, his song "KCE" from 2024 is one of my most played songs on spotify, and I quite loved his esc entry in 2006, BUT, BUT Shkodra Elektronike style simply DOESNT GO with Luiz Ejlli style.. THE END! 😌🥹

Mrs Tershana, dont be silly pls and let this happen... 🤔🙃

Mrs Tershana, be our Mikaela Minga of 2025, only once, pls... xpray

I don't like it im sorry. Singing is awful in some parts.

Will have a hard time to qualify for the final, it doesn't have a thing to remember it by.

Song is just dragging on in my opinion. Last years song was way better.

i think what put me of most is that the song is in a 4/4 measure musically, but she sometimes is a bit too early/late with the words. Maybe it's ryhtmically/timing issue, maybe live issue where the music usually is a bit later than actually played.

I don't know put it puts me of as a "hobby-musician". Also the spoken part with were the "Zjem" always is on the first count, but sometimes they only start again at count 3/4 , sometimes even in between counts which breaks the flow totally. Maybe it's so because it needs to be spoken like this in Albanian but I don't like it.

The ending is off-key. She seems out of breath towards some sentences in the end as well. Maybe they could leave the dancing part out for that, it doesn't add anything to the song in my opnion.

They need to work on making it a bit more stricly musically speaking, and give the older man something to do while she is singing. But they got a while for doing that.

It is not that important for this specific entry to be in tune 100%.. And it is "ZjeRm" btw ;)
Blanche from Belgium for example was completely out of tune and finnished really high at ESC, and for that specific entry it was actually important to be good live..

No, But it you do a spoken text it needs to be rhythmically correct at least. And that is not the case.

How do you mean it is not rhythmically correct?
They are a bit before the count sometimes. Not exactly right on it. Probably would'nt have noticed if i didnt work on my rythym through playing in a l harmony the past 3 years. But it kinda annoys me now 😅

Hopefully there aren't many fans with your experience which analyse and vivisection technically the song with such dedication.
Being carried on by the feelings, the soul, the emotions doesn't count?

Well yeah, but i am not a fan of entries in languages i don't understand.

People who only watch the eurovision (semi)final will not look up the meaning of a song they don't understand.

I know the community has pushed for it the past couple of years but how many songs in a native language that is not English or French won the past decade?
Just Portugal (2017) and Italy(2021). I am not counting Ukraine (2022) cause that was just a win through the socio-economic circumstances of that time.

Rise Like a Phoenix(2014), Heroes(2015), Jamala(2016), Toy(2018), Arcade (2019), Tattoo(2023), The Code(2024) are all (partly) in English.

But thats just my opinion ofcourse. If you like it then by all means vote for it.

Big respect for your opinion.
To my opinion the native language is a richness that ESC should promote and preserve.
Personally I wouldn't like an Italian artist representing us with a song that most Italians don't speak or understand.

Thank God they won't revamp It: the last few revamps from Albania were disastrous (Sekret? Titan?). The song is not bad, I could have appreciate It better without him trying to murmur something in the microphone, though.

For the spoken word part, I would increase the intensity and mood of it. Maybe an additional sonic element during that part with the purposes to give it a more haunting feel would not be a bad idea. And I wish if he would just put a bit more character into it. Give that section more of an intense camerawork and that´s all it needs.

Everything else is perfect the way it is.
