I think Zjerm has an ethnic vibe that will appeal to casual voters who watch it for the first time. The main singer (Beatrice I think) also has a lot of charisma and likeable energy. I don't it's anywhere near to being as alienating as Telemoveis was.

I will say I think the spoken word part needs to be workshopped a bit to make it more impactful though. That's the main thing I've seen people be underwhelmed by.

I couldn't agree more. I'm listening to the studio version of the song, and it sounds better than the live performance. I actually like it, and I don't think it needs a revamp – just improvements in the staging and his vocals, which sound quite odd without the autotune from the track.

Maybe 3rd time's the charm for Queen Elvana  Karnaval is such a catchy banger...

I'll give Zjerm :6: for now, I still don't know what to think of it...

I only watched the final today. That's why it was classified only with the first audition. But they were my favorites, there were other good songs, but I'm completely satisfied with the winner.

I feel like it needs an revamp (even given the length of the song), but it's a very interesting start. Possibly a 10 from me, but I need to hear it more times

And finally, the 2025 Eurovision season begins for me hred

This is very unpolished compared to Shum, and I'm speaking purely based on prejudices of previous Albanian participations but they give me the impression that they'll make it much wackier and cheaper while trying to refine it. For that reason, I actually prefer them leaving it as it is and crossing my fingers that it will somehow work.

:7: pts for now

Albania choosing the out of the box pathway? I'm completely in! It's true that the performance has room for improvement but hey nothing they can't achieve in these coming months together with a powerful staging (and not the shame they did last year).

It's a :12: from me, and possibly one of the songs I will enjoy the most during the season.

Exactly what I feel about sore losers
lol he really is a cunt (and not of the do re mi fa si serving kind)

Portugal got x2 diaspora/neighbors 12 points from France and Spain and still failed the final.
Albania literally has to bring the most unvoteable trash (TiTAN) in order to miss out on their very wide diasporia vote. Unlike Portugal's which is fairly concentrated in a few countries, it's a vote that results in middling scores in multiple countries by default.

Besides, Zjerm is very popular and already has an advantage going in. The time where Mall was deemed dead on arrival despite being liked and then had to be carried their by juries lie behind us. Hopefully.

I think some nice rotating camera work with a trippy dark led backdrop can do wonders for that part and actually make it really intense and sensual.. I really hope they have a good art director for this, there's SO much potential here.

If someone from the Albanian delegation is reading this, hire me xlmao

I’m torn. My number 2 won tonight. I’m happy but also pissed that the only song that could do well in Eurovision didn’t win (Karnaval). Albania very rarely have a song that can do well and they, this year, threw that chance away.

Looks like Albania will stay in the semis AGAIN. That voting system needs to change.

Thanks albanians for having taste. This is a well deserved :12: points from me here ! I still don't get the comparisons here with Telemoveis. I'll repeat myself but Telemoveis was more experimental than Zjerm and less accessible. I don't see the beginning of a similarity between them except that both are ethnic songs.

This is clearly my favourite albanian entry ever at the moment !

Karma was 11th in the televote and wouldn't qualify in the new system. Mall was also dragged through by the juries. I believe casuals have more of an impact on Albania qualifying than you think

It's an easy 12 points for me.
I don't care if it stays in semis. Not at all.
By the way I think Albania will qualify for sure.
What do you ESC fans expect from esc partecipant? Originality, quality, ethnicity, singing ability, stage presence. Zjerm and ShElektronike have them all.
Zjerm will not sound weird to all the countries that have similar music vibes.
Montenegro, Greece. Croatia, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Cyprus, Israel.
Very happy The Quality won above The banality.

I mean you're correct about karma being 11th but you forget about the rest of the world vote which Kosovo is in meaning Albania is always going to get something out of it
