Hey everyone! Thanks to anyone who watched our performance. sadly the sound crew didn't turn on the bass guitar throughout the whole song and also had issues with my guitar aswell mo being able to balance the levels. Practically just half our song's arrangement was played on stage - I still hope you managed to get a glimpse of our energy though even though I admit the instrumental sounded horrible without bass.

Exceptionally brilliant vocals and as a power metal/Symphonic Metal fan, I clearly have a soft spot for such music but I just think that the arrangement somehow sounded a bit flat from time to time?
I don't know if it was on purpose or just some sound mixing issues?
Nonetheless, it was a good performance.
Thank you for the kind words! Sadly the sound crew left us without a bass guitar throughout the entire song and changed my guitar channel to where it sounded horrible - there was a huge sonic hole in the song; you're 100% right something was flat. We hope to get to the final so we can properly serve the song.

Indeed.

I think it was somehow unfair how great the sound was compared to the guitars from the Elementals... I think that we had the same issues when the interval act performed.
The sound mixing is so much better for the permanent musicians as part of the band/orchestra.
FiK needs to work on these sound or mixing issues until Friday if you ask me.

Saddly the sound crew didn't turn on the bass guitar and put my guitar on the wrong channel. We had a lot of fun though despite all and hope to get to the final so we can properly deliver the song,

Since it seems to be such a fan fav, I took the time to listen to Luan's song.
I love the hook: powerful, deep, capturing
I hate the spoken part: too long, too monotone
The verses... well.... a bit too simple for my taste - musically.
The "repetitio est mater studiorum" is a funny twist, since I my first impression of the song was "a bit too repetitive"
The lyrics are quite philosophical, even if simple. I like that.

All in all, I'm not too fond of it, especially because of the spoken part.

Tumblr, mostly.
K listened to yesterday's crop. Arsi mothered HARD and is easily the best one in this otherwise very bog-standard edition of FiK. The faves don't bother me too much (all are acceptable choices), but I would rather not have Elsa's Rapsodia ass death ballad in my Eurovision, thank you very much. Having to sit through the real Mia Martini twice is enough trauma in my life.

May the best Besa win :-), or Luan failing that.

Arsi redeemed herself after he disappointing debut at FiK last year. That FiK debut followed a strong song at Kenga Magjike in the same year.
