2023 is a prime example of Albanian diaspora supporting an entry and nobody else though

The "Albanian wailing woman" thing is a bit of a humorous cliché but five consecutive years of female soloists singing dramatic minor-key songs with some vocal theatrics mean there's more than a grain of truth to it. The fact that Duje starts with about thirty seconds of Albina going "HEEEAAAAYYYYEEEEAAAAYYYHHHEEEAAYYY etc." just adds fuel to the fire that Rona Nishliu started.
Personally, I like all of them but Duje can't help but remind me of a spoof headline from The Day Today:

Even though I kinda liked the song I have to agree. Basically all their points are either diaspora or neighbours, if they didn´t reach the point ranks they mostly did very badly actually.

My favourite wailing Albanian woman was 2019 I just wish we had an out of the box entry from them again like 2010 or 2018

2008 (Zëmren e lamë peng is my 2008 winner, it's just stunning), 2018 and 2019 are the three best Albanian entries in my opinion... I was never a fan of 2023, 2021 is mid table for me.

3 big names/A-listers are in the early rumors for FiK 62.
Have been waiting for Besa Kokëdhima to come back to FiK for a while now. She has had some wonderful KM songs. Same with Samanta Karavella who hasn't competed in FiK in over a decade. Those would be two very big names.
Elsa Lila apparently wants to do Eurovision this time arounds which is why she wants to return so soon after picking up her 3rd FiK victory.
