I find your statement to be self-contradictory. This entry couldn't come from any other country, if it like that then this song would have been different. Even if the language wasn't Albanian the song would still sound very Albanian.

For me it does and it reminds me a couple of previous Albanian entries.

They rarely had Albanian ethnic music featured.. xshrug

Best Albanian entry since "Suus", on the other hand not hard since all entries since then were bad up until now...

However, although this is my cup of tea with the ethnic motive, native language etc. the song lacks something and it feels slightly boring... I see the comparisons to "1944", and while there might be some similarities as far as style goes, this is more Eurovion-esque theatrical wheres that one was more sincerely dramatic. Still though, I hope this qualifies at least.

I love the atmosphere in this song, but the problem with the song for me is the instrumentals, they're stunning, but they're constantly on and I want a break from that heavy drum beat tbh, it renders the whole song as exhausting for me, the song doesn't sound dynamic enough. They're two very different songs, but it's basically also why I couldn't get behind Belarus in 2017 even though I liked that song in theory as well, a constant similar beat seems to really enjoy me in some songs.
