Well with Rezarta yes, as she's my favourite Albanian artist (even over Rona) so i'd be very happy for her to have that chance. At the same time I want my favourite artists to be at their best. I wasn't exactly happy last year when Kaliopi returned with "Dona", though it grew on me over time. I knew it was a big step down and wouldn't be received as well at the contest. With Lindita I love just the one song, and haven't been able to get into any of her other music i've heard so far, so yes, with her, i'd really like her to come back with something stronger and more interesting. I don't want her at the contest just for the sake that it's Lindita Halimi.
That one is understated and rather beautiful, jazzy. I do like it. I only didn't like one song from the first semi and that was "Shiu".
My favourites are:

This should have been Lindita's song. This is what I wanted her to come back with. I love when the Fik orchestra heats up for an uptempo pop number. It's so awesome. Got a bit of singer troubles here though. Unsure i'm really feeling this chap, but the song is so good that I can't resist it.

My faves (of those who qualified, Festina didn't GRRRR )are:
1) Lorela - "ME TY" - this is AESOME, this would be fantastic entry in Kyiv
2) Ylli Limani - "SHIU" - this is GREAT, vocals are shaky a bit at times and the highest notes are not sung with perfection, but nth tahat bad, it can improve..

Looking at the songs again the producers want Lindita.The swirling camera work,the close in shots,the lighting set perfect for her clothes.The question is will that push her over the line?.Betting head on my money would be going on her to win.
Dilan has a strong song,and the crowd love him.Will the jury do their job though and vote him down or not,because i dont rate his delivery at all,its an X-Factor audition standard and the juries might destroy him at ESC.Yll Limani might take the televote,its a very safe song.Will the jury give enough though if they spot the vocals struggle even slightly up the range?.
There is room for a few of the others to sneak in and win as well if they wow the jury enough tomorrow night.Most of the poor songs have been knocked out and the final is stronger than i first thought.Looking forward to see how it plays out.

I actually didn't know who qualified when I made that list, so i'm lucky I got most of my favourites through. I did lose one however, Linda Rukaj, who I thought was very special tonight with her giant cello.
I'm happy you like "KËTU", and am very surprised actually that Genc managed to make the final with this song. Maybe I shouldn't be too surprised though as this is Albania, a country that is open to things that are more unusual. I think "KËTU" is a most peculiar and stunning song. It really builds to something very soulful. So emotive
With Lorela I have vocal problems. I find that breathy, inflected style of singing irritating. I like unusual voices but when they are so forced it can bug me. It was something different for Fik, so it was nice to see it there, but unfortunately I didn't consider the song to be anything particularly special.
Genc won't be able to win (just happy to have him in the final) so I think i'll be rooting for Xhesika Polo tomorrow. Her voice is awesome, even when performing sick. Her song isn't anything extraordinary but it's powerful, and she elevates it very high.

"Mos Harro" is a massive surprise - I strongly disliked his song last year, "Buzëqesh," and hated his followup single but was impressed listening to it and like it even more in retrospect. If that's the prohibitive favorite [MENTION=4958]QwaarJet[/MENTION] portrays it as, fine by me.

If this was 100% televote Yll would be one of the favourite to win id expect,he is very popular among the younger demographic in Albania and i presume the rest of the Balkan area.His Youtube views,follows,likes etc are higher than most of the rest of these put together.We dont have televote data from other years so we cant be sure if people will bother to vote or not,and if televotes tie in to general popularity or not,but if they did Yll would be challenging the win.If Dilan wins/comes high in the televote then that says people have voted on the show itself and not on previous favourite acts,and that again would be a pointer for future years that the result isnt thrown by a big fan base,or in Dilan's case the lack of one,but in what people actually like the best.
If i was betting on this id back Lindita because the producers want her,Yll because he is very popular,and Dilan because he seemed to get the best reaction in the hall.

I don't It sounds very interesting.
But i seriously need studio versions, i have a list of 16-17 songs i kind of liked live but i cannot judge them properly cause orchestra doesn't do a lot of upbeat songs any justice (orchestra in 2017 with that many music styles around - blasphemy) + 90% of these people are poor live singers. I need to listen to the songs the way they were designed to sound...xsos

My favourites are Dilan Reka, Edea Demaliaj, Lindita, Flaka Krelani and Fabiola & Agnesa.
In terms of Eurovision potential, Fabiola & Agnesa probably won’t make it past the semis.
Dilan Reka would probably pass, but I imagine it will get changed to English like Albania normally does. Hopefully it won’t be reminiscent of 2014 or 2016’s revamps.
Lindita and Flaka's songs might be a bit too edgy for the typical Eurovision audience.
Edea’s song is absolutely top-10 worthy. The only flaw is that her voice is screechy at times, but with the right performance, this may even have a shot at winning in Kiev.
I think Dilan will win though, he seems to be the favourite and he got a really good audience reception after his performance.

I'm really struggling to be able to get on board with all the hype surrounding this Dilan... I don't get what's so good? Is it because it's one of the only upbeat songs in the selection? The chorus is really lame and his voice sounds really off throughout :|
