Looking at those results, I think A-Lister may have just started going on a murder spree, hunting down all the jury members.

yeah cuz it's seasonal right

bad entry, bad results = didn't buy votes
good entry, good results = bought votes

Personally, I think that this is Azerbaijan's best entry ever. And they definitely would have never gotten 4th in 2012 without buying votes. That song and performance were no better than this year's.

Again these are empty assumptions. You may like this song (actually a small number on this forum like it as well), but it is not a song that can be admired by a broader public. There was no hype around it from the very first release of it. It's no brainer that it failed because it simply did not have the same appeal as former songs. But this explanation will not satisfy anyone who just wants to repeat the same thing over and over again.

I never thought Germany would be 2 points away from being the best big 5.

Still today we learn that every country can do well in the televoting, even traditionally failing western and central european countries so they should defitnely tried harder.

Maybe some countries can protest next year by purposely failing their juries and thereby forcing the EBU to use their televote results only

All these countries usually get very few votes from other countries and this year they could bomb in the televoting in a similar way than block countries. With such a fair televoting result like the one we've just had, I wonder if we really need juries. They've made almost no difference this year.

I agree, Europe seems to be more open minded now and votes for the songs, not for the flag.

Why don't Albania and other countries use televoting too? Can someone kindly explain to me?

Maybe not enough people watch and vote? It's confusing actually because its not like they have the population of San Marino.

The televoters have proven the past years that they are far more open-minded and less biased than those crappy juries that are just politically motivated and musically narrow-minded.

But EBU wants those craps to continue destroy the contest, they even gave them more voting powers.
