Finally got around to creating a full playlist of all of the songs that have represented Moisantia in both WLSC and NSC so far, and it was a great trip down memory lane! I didn't even realise that our first winner "Ascension" was actually our 50th entry in both contests combined - that's kinda special!
Here's hoping I don't need to wait until 100 for another winner

EDIT: Annoyingly the video for the first song - Girl Overboard by Girls Aloud - is not available on mobiles as is the case for every other version of the video that's posted on YouTube and I refuse to have a sub-standard live version on my playlist so I'll look to remedy that later in the week guys.

It's never too early to plan ahead right? So I figured I'd call on all my fellow waitlisters to aid me in helping choose my 110 entry.
I want to hold an NF for the 110th edition of WLSC but would like to guarantee that I'll have the voters to justify it as I don't really want to reveal all of these songs without the possibility of one being chosen for 110.
There would be 8 songs max, and I may even try and put together a quick recap video with 20-30 second clips if you can't dedicate the time to listen to them all, but I really need your help as I'm at a loss as to which exact style and song would suit the contest to be honest. They are all dance tracks spanning around 20 years, so it should give you something for everyone
So if you're keen to help me out, please PM me to let me know that you'd be up for it and then we can take it from there!

Thanks for the support for Infernal - it was great to see so many 12 and 10 votes, and it was bizarre to replicate Rag'n'Bone Man's 7th place out of 17 result again haha!
Our 116 entry will celebrate one of my favourite musical styles - Italo-Disco - and will be Moisantia's first ever instrumental entry! We'll reveal the song tomorrow

So as promised, it's time to reveal our 116 entry!
Italo-disco has long been a favourite genre of mine as it represents the bridge between 70's disco and the harder dance styles of house, techno and trance that took over the 90's. Started in Italy and still enjoying a strong following to this day, the songs were characterised by big synth hooks and rumbling bass riffs that made them perfect for hours upon hours of dancing in your local nightclubs. For anyone that remembers my previous stint in NSC, you might remember my love for Eurobeat as well and this fast paced hyper genre that was lapped up by the Japanese market evolved from the classic Italo-disco roots that characterised the 80's.
As for my entry, I've chosen a modern Italo-disco track which was actually the B-side to the latest single from one of the movements most-loved current groups, Italove. The track is largely instrumental so that the big synth hooks and bass beats can take certain stage and it's accompanied by a video using clips from the 1980's Sly Stallone film "Cobra" which somehow adds another level of retro glam to it all.
Hope you enjoy it - looking forward to some votes!
