I think I liked Neon Jungle most, but I'm not 100% if it was my top pointer. And I remember I wasn't big fan of the winner, but I didn't place it last xthink

I'm almost sure the winner is the one with most potential in NSC, though.

Yeah that sounds about right FoFo...

Here's hoping we can qualify for the final - Stay The Night got a total of 5 top votes in the NF, so that's half of the voters that decided it was their favourite, so it's a fairly decisive winner overall. xup

So while we all just generally loiter between ESC NFs waiting for the results show for NSC #106, I thought I'd throw out a little morsel to you all about my plans for NSC #107.

It's going to be a complete change from the songs that I've probably become known for recently, and the style will be totally different.

My issue is that I have no idea whether to send the full version of the song, which is a mammoth 9 minutes long, or whether to go for a far more manageable edit at around the 4 minute mark. Both have their benefits and downsides, so I'm totally confused at the moment. Any comments would be appreciated to help me decide

As for a picture clue... why not...

Depends on what kind of song it is, for me. If it's say, techno or house, then even 1 minute would be too long for me. :lol:

But seeing as the majority of the songs I love are usually between 6-10 minutes, some even around the 15 minute mark, I say go for it! xcheer

Considering the majority of Moisantia's entries have been dance/dance-pop tracks, you can safely assume that it isn't a techno or house track :lol:

The edit is well done I think, but it misses out a massive part of the song (which in my opinion goes on for a bit too long in the full version). It's a tough choice... xthink

If it's trance or similar, then I'd say full-length. If not, then go for the short version.

But yeah, I (partly) agree with Stargazer, it depends on the song...

Thanks guys. I think the song would do best in its edited form, since although I adore the full version, it might be a little repetitive for some. Can't wait to see how it's received - will probably flop! :lol:

I prefer shorter songs tbh, but if a song is so good, I don't mind if it's long, I even wish it never ends. :lol:

But judging from my experience, I'd prefer the shorter one in papers.

Looking at Moisantia's history, it's pretty clear that our nation's citizens are unashamed fans of pop and dance. But there's more to them than meets the eye... for NSC #107, we are sending a beautiful, inspirational song with a spiritual overtone and we hope that you enjoy it. The original album version is over 9 minutes in length, so this is a more NSC-friendly edit for you all.

Not voting on this one, but I just wanted to give a more serious answer. I think you should pick the one you like the most. If people don't like it, they won't listen to all of it no matter how long it is. If they do like it a bit, then a short version would probably be the best, and if they love it, they might enjoy the long version the most. But in the end, I don't really think it makes much of a difference when it comes to results.

I tried, but i cant decide for which version i should vote... in the live version her voice can better show its advantage, in the short version the song seems a bit too short for me and in the long version there are some sounds (bells or whatever) i dont like that much. Not really helpfull, right? ^^

Now you see the dilemma I have! I love when the beat comes in in the studio versions but I just think the short version misses out the whole "spirit lead me" section, even though it goes on for longer than some may like. The live version is probably the perfect length but has no big production behind it, which I like. It's brain melting stuff!! :lol:
