This century the UK have sent 4 songs that would win Eurovision. 2009, 2014, 2017, 2022…. And now 2025. I actually think if the televoters don’t murder it this could win. Perfect vocals, country / queen styling… with good staging we could be back in Liverpool next May.

I don’t see any other country winning other than Israel or Cyprus this year. It’s a very VERY weak year

The UK will be lucky to get 50 televote points, and that’s being generous.

One thing that happened with Sam, which I believe really helped, was that he performed the song straight away. He then continued to do so on his socials.

Not having a live performance doesn’t help the UK. They need to show the girls can sing. They need people to hear the song so it becomes familiar (as it’s not really an instant catch due to its blend of styles) They need to show their personalities, being fun, caring about the contest etc

Little to no social/promo etc is a bad move. Surely Sam taught them how important it is to be part of the conversation.

Yeah, when Spaceman was revealed there was the studio version released in the morning and he did an "as live" version on The One Show a few hours later. I don't know if he did any other live/as life singing that day, but over the course of a few hours we heard the song and what he is capable of.

As far as I'm aware the trio hasn't done any live performances of their song as yet. Which feels kind of screwy as you'd have at least expected them to do something on the BBC by now given they are the UK's broadcaster for this contest.

2022 was the only one that was even close to be a potential winner. If it wasn't for Andrew Lloyd webber there's no way 2009 would have done so well. I do think 2014 and 2017 should have done better but they weren't winning material and nor is this hot mess.

I remember being surprised that the result was low in 2014. I thought it was a strong entry. 2017 I could take or leave.

The mind or minds of those that wrote this song must be quite chaotic. Perhaps the show is to overly teenage girl femaleistic. But it is quite charming to. The different parts of the song maybe doesnt hold together but it is a bit of a novelty. But I dont like the swearing in the title that is unnecessary-. But the UK with the second biggest music industry in the world can do better. Just the BBC chosing the winner song every year will not make the contest as popular as if it had a national final of different songs. Which people can vote on.

Like a few others, I saw Remember Monday at one of the free stages at the C2C festival last year and have been fond of them ever since. Did not expect this to be the direction they went in with their ESC song, but I believe in their ability to deliver tight vocals and some playful looks to camera, at least!

Their voices and especially their harmonies are incredible.
But the song itself goes nowhere.

The hate just feels so forced again tbh. Three excellent vocalists with a great sounding song… unsure why it’s so low on ESC scoreboard etc? Did I miss the part where they appropriated someone’s culture or filled the song with sexual innuendos? Oh wait…

Three great vocalists? Definitely great sounding song? It's so so messy and all those tempo changes are very offputting. Also they spend more than 1/3 of the song singing what the hell just happened. It's no way near my top 10. I actually think it would have been better if the bbc had let them send a country song.

Re fandom, there are some stupid toxic fans who are blaming (and sending hate to) the girls for the ebu's uturn on kant, but I think the reason it's so low is the song itself.
