Yesterday A & T performed on TV. I just watched the performance. Aside from the fact that it was full playback, I thought it was a great performance! The wind machine worked well, and the camera movement was much better. Abor was more integrated, and the colors were also very good!

The Playback was expected IMO, Raab had Lena do Playback too when on his Shows IIRC.

But they will be in Amsterdam, so we will get a live vocal Update anyway.

I get why others like it, but that wind machine is as unintentionally hilarious as it is 99% of the time to me. The rest is fine, but nothing to write home about.

Tynna really is super pretty and charismatic though, and her styling is great. And good that Abor gets a little more spotlight.

Definitely greatly improved staging, feels very slick without being overdone. Lights on both, nice clothing for Tynna.

This staging us way better than both the stagings in the NF, I hope that they will chose something similar for esc. I'm still worried about her vocals because the songs seems too fast due to the way she sings, I believe that her vocals are stronger in their other / slower songs.

I love the studio version so much but vocals and staging are the two reasons I don't put Germany higher in my top 10.

The German entry is the most exciting for me. it can be the dark horse or an absolute fail. really unpredictable what will happen.

Yooo, an uphill battle, but what an improvement. I love the staging, the 80's asthetics, Kate Bush/Jennifer Rush-style. Works really well somehow. We be runnin' up that hill till May xyes

OT: AnNa R. who was the singer of the German pop duo Rosenstolz was found dead in her flat in Berlin. She was fifty-five years old.

The duo took part in the NF in 1998 and finished second behind Guildo Horn with the song "Herzensschöner". They were already making music for seven years prior appearing there, this was basically the first time a wider audience took notice of them. In the 2000s they were one of the most succesful acts in :de: before heading separate ways in 2012.

Even though I was never really a fan of them (found most of their lyrics rather cheesy) dying at such a young age is always sad. :(

RIP

If the girl improves her vocals, they will take it home.
Stefan Raab knows how to deal with the machine.

Do you actually think this has a meaning? *lol* Even Malta or Ukraine who are high in the odds are mostly disliked. In Germany''s case the Feuerschwanz' Fans were pissed and gave these dislikes. So this video has no meaning at all. xcookie

Songs that are high in the odds often are very disputed and get a lot of dislikes. You can’t vote against a song at the ESC so those aren‘t reflected in the result. Just look at Israel, where the dislikes are easily explained though it’s very high in the odds.
Very good observation though: the german fandom could have had an impact on the numbers in the video.
