The staging is gonna be amazing. Im gonna make a controversial guess: UK will do better than all the other big 5 countries this year, including Italy

Really cool staging but I'm not really digging the outfits tbh
Curious to see how this looks on TV though.

Wait Eurovision is a family show? Is it not the biggest gay convention of the year lol

This Eurovision legend from 1997 started to break down the barriers for Eurovision and Olly is going to progress it even further. Shout-out to Iceland's Paul Oscar and his performance that was way ahead of its time.

Obviously the staging came from Olly and his team, but I'm surprised the BBC has gone along with something so blatant. It's giving gay porn vibes. Usually the BBC are a bit more... prudish, for want of a better word. Mary Whitehouse (Google her if you don't know her) would have a heart attack if she saw it. 🤣 I don't think any staging reveal has ever shocked me like this one did and I love it.

I definetley remember watching it as a kid. I also remember so pretty sexy choreo being present back then too.

The ghost of Mary Whitehouse hasn't seen it, but she has been told that it is very naughty.

Rightwingers be like (as usual):
- violence: no problem
- guns: no problem
- naked women: yeah!
- naked men: booooooooooooo! Think about the chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiildrreeeeeeeen!

Internalized homophobia at its best.

Don't care about those bigots Olly! Go for it!

I remember being mesmerised by this, and was only a kid at the time.

Still love the 1997 winner though.

I discovered it because I wanted to watch the contest in full on Youtube when the UK last won, and when this came on it totally blew me away at how progressive and modern it was compared to the vibe of Eurovision in those days.

Quite a good song, really radio friendly, but lacks a biiit of memorability. I mean, when you have loved “King”, this sounds a bit meh. However, I still like it. 8 points.

Tumblr, mostly.
Excellent staging. This is wild, unashamedly queer, instantly iconic. I hope he gets all of the twelves. Maybe then we'll be spared stupidity such as "France Should Win Because He's Real".
