This Eurovision legend from 1997 started to break down the barriers for Eurovision and Olly is going to progress it even further. Shout-out to Iceland's Paul Oscar and his performance that was way ahead of its time.

Obviously the staging came from Olly and his team, but I'm surprised the BBC has gone along with something so blatant. It's giving gay porn vibes. Usually the BBC are a bit more... prudish, for want of a better word. Mary Whitehouse (Google her if you don't know her) would have a heart attack if she saw it. I don't think any staging reveal has ever shocked me like this one did and I love it.

I discovered it because I wanted to watch the contest in full on Youtube when the UK last won, and when this came on it totally blew me away at how progressive and modern it was compared to the vibe of Eurovision in those days.

This might be the most unexpected staging in the ESC (modern) history for me. UK finally going all in and I can't wait to see the whole performance. Certain websites's traffic gonna take a heavy hit once this is aired.
