The BBC has confirmed on its social media platforms today that Scott Mills will once again commentate on the semi-final for the fifth year in a row. The UK spokesperson will be joined this year by Great British Bake-Off host Mel Giedroyc who will be performing commentary duties for the first time. Previous co-hosts with Scott have included Laura Whitmore, Sara Cox and Ana Matronic.
Graham Norton will once again provide commentary for BBC One’s coverage of the grand final, while Ken Bruce will provide BBC Radio 2 commentary, which he has done since 1988. Bruce will overtake Terry Wogan as the longest running UK commentator if he continues coverage up to 2017.
21 other countries have confirmed their commentary teams for 2015. Notable inclusions are Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang who will provide Australia’s first ever commentary as a participant, Sanna Nielsen for Sweden and Andi Knoll, giving commentary once again for the host country Austria.
