After months of speculation and rumours it has finally been announced that the United Kingdom’s representative in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest will be known on Monday (03/03/14).
At 19:25 local time (20:25 CET) a show entitled Eurovision 2014: The UK Launch will be broadcast on BBC Red Button. The show will last from 19:25 until 21:00 (GMT) where the Semi Final commentator, Scott Mills, will meet with the act representing the UK. The song is to be aired on the show for the first time!
It has been indicated by the BBC that it will be the first time the song is to be aired on the TV. There has been no indication as to whether the ‘act’ will be a solo artist or a group.
Acts to have been rumoured for the United Kingdom over the last few months have been, Geri Halliwell, Stacey Solomon, amongst others, Monday evening all questions regarding the UK representative will be answered.
