These young talents will participate in a summer “Star School” at the Ukrainian Radio Recording House, where they will receive training from industry professionals. The school aims to enhance their artistic abilities and prepare them for the competition ahead.

An expert panel, including TAYANNA, Michelle Andrade, and Yevhen Khmara, will evaluate the participants’ progress and help select the top six finalists. These finalists will then work on original songs under the guidance of music producer Svitlana Tarabarova and songwriter Yevhen Tryplov, while Yevhen Kot will oversee the visual and stage presentations. The final selection, scheduled for September, will be broadcast as a televised concert, with the winner being chosen through a combination of jury votes and public voting.

Notably, last year’s representative, 9-year-old Anastasiya Dymyd, achieved Ukraine’s best result since 2018 with her song “Kvitka,” finishing 5th overall. The Junior Eurovision 2024 final will be held on November 16 at the Caja Mágica arena in Madrid, marking the first time the contest is hosted in Spain.
