About two weeks ago, the longlist became a shortlist, where it was revealed who would take part in the Ukrainian national final for 2023. Today, the remaining pieces got revealed and by now, we can only wait to see who will represent Ukraine in Liverpool.

Vidbir 2023

Earlier on, the Ukrainian broadcaster (Suspline) was in charge of a rather short press conference, where these remaining details would be revealed. The broadcaster had promised that all 10 competing songs would be released ahead of the show, and that’s exactly what they did today.

The running order has also been shared, and the acts will compete in the following order:

  1. Moisei – “I’m Not Alone”
  2. OY Sound System – “Ой, тужу”
  3. DEMCHUK – “Alive”
  4. Jerry Heil – “WHEN GOD SHUT THE DOOR”
  5. FIINKA – “Довбуш”
  6. KRUTЬ – “Колискова”
  7. Tember Blanche – “Я вдома”
  8. Angelina – “Stronger”
  9. 2TONE – “Квітка”
  10. TVORCHI – “Heart of Steel”

As a reminder, the Ukrainian national final will take place on the 17th of December, in the central metro station in Kyiv. This is a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in early 2022. The station has acted as a bunker for citizens throughout the war.

All songs can be heard in the playlist below:

The winner of Vidbir 2023 will represent Ukraine in Liverpool and will be a direct finalist, since Ukraine did win the 2022 contest, but was unfortunately deemed non-suitable to host the show in 2023.

With the songs finally out, which song do #YOU want to see on the big Liverpool stage and who do #YOU think will represent Ukraine in 2023?
Let’s hear from #YOU on our forum site right HERE, or visit us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok and Discord.
